Mr O neill devlops ides for improvisation throughout the book. He dicusses subtone/various effects/vibrato/study of overtones various "jazz" modes and scales and many other important techniques. I would encourage every advancing saxophone players to have it on there music shelf.The musical pieces and examples need to be used in conjunction with the fine notes at the back of the book.
