My old ones worn out. It helps me with my knee problems and balance issues. These are HARD inserts. HARD. They are for people who have moderate foot issues, who need arch support. Read the instructions: dont wear these for more than an hour at a time, and even then it will be uncomfortable. The first pair I had, they hurt quite a bit at the start, but that was nothing compared to the excruciating footpain they helped cure. The first pair I got also cost a bundle, and these are much cheaper, and seem as durable,even if they last 1/4 as long they will still be a lot cheaper - so I ordered multiple pairs after seeing which ones fit the best. Highly recommend them.
