Really really really good.***Update***
I am a rare duck in the tech space as I really don't have a preference between Android and iOS. I have traditionally carried an Android phone and used Apple tablets and laptops. I just honestly find Samsung's innovation in hardware more intriguing. That said, I recently bought a new iPhone 15 Pro for a second phone to leave in my house and saw these new Airpods on sale, so I scooped them. The move to USBC convinced me I need to try both. I have used darn near every credible earbud that has come to market in the last four years. Sony, Bose, B&W, Anker, Apple, Beats, Sennheiser, and many others. I have been chasing the perfect set. I think I found them here or, at the very least, found the closest thing there is to perfection. Here are my thoughts on the new Airpods Pro2: Sound: This is the one area that they don't win hands down, but they sound great. Many of my buds feature larger more well tuned drivers. Some even have dual drivers. Many have the option to upscale to more lossless sound by using AptX. None of that is here, but what Apple has done with sound is commendable. There is good separation between the highs, mids, and lows. Unlike previous Airpods, these things bring a very solid low end that can rumble a bit. I am not an audiophile, but these sound really good. I still think that the new Sony buds and Sennheiser buds are better but it isn't a landslide. Apple has nailed it with active noise cancelling here as well. While the Bose Quiet Comfort buds are still the GOAT for me, these are at least as good as the runner up from Sony. These block out all but the most sudden noises. Really good all around. Call quality: These are easily the best there is for calls. It really isn't close. They do an unbelievable job of masking background noise so folks on the other end can hear you. I was on a call with a friend who was using them as well and his son was in the background gaming. He was yelling at the game and, occasionally when he spoke, I could pick up on it a bit, but only when he spoke. The processing here is just so good. Form Factor: I hate stem style buds generally, but these are solid. They are light and have real balance in the ear. I think because the Pro's have silicone tips they just work better for me. The squeeze functionality makes these so accurate to use when compared to others that rely on tapping and the swipe volume control is really outstanding. For my ears, and this is subjective for sure, these are all day comfortable. You get a solid IP54 water and dust resistance, so these will hold up well in the gym. Battery Life: These are average in this space when compared with their peers. I am getting about five hours on bud. You get another three to four charges from the case. Many others are better here, but I find battery life to be perfectly acceptable for everyday use. Intangibles: There are almost too many things to mention here. First, the case is, as always, the best in the business. It is tiny, solid, packs a great battery, and has the most satisfying magnetic click when closing. I love the spatial audio. It is gimmicky but really fun when it is executed properly during a show or movie. The speech detection is amazing. As is the easy pairing and use on the iPhone. Find my buds is the BOMB. There is so much more that I will update later. These are very well thought out. Conclusion: For me, Apple has crushed it here. Having FINALLY moved to USBC (even if it took the EU to force them) makes all Apple things so much better. These buds might not be the best at much, but they are very good at everything. I can honestly say that these are the best buds on the market. Will I use others for different occasions? Yes, but I doubt that as long as I have an iPhone, I will use many of them often. Buy these now with complete and total confidence. Wow Apple, just wow! Well done! ***Update*** So, I am three weeks in with these and I have a couple of other thoughts I should add. First, the thing that jumps off the page to me is the speaker built into the case. I have owned dozens of buds and this is a first to me. It is awesome. The case chimes when the buds are properly returned to the case. You get a low battery notification and it is also used to โfind my AirPods.โ It is simply brilliant and an example of how thoughtful some of Appleโs designs are. The case is simply next level and that means more than most people think since you interact with it regularly. The other thing that stands out is how much customization there is and how intuitive it is to set up in your settings. Sony offers similar customization and, in some ways more, but it takes a lot more work. Like I said, there are better options for a lot of things, but the polish and attention to detail here from Apple make these a clear winner overall. If you are on the fence, donโt be. I will update with anything else but these are easily the best all around buds on the market. Buy with confidence

If you want a seamless Apple experience, then AirPods Pro are a must.
I used to be an AirPods hater and thought they were overpriced. But I bought my first pair in 2019 and have never looked back. I thought they would pretty much be the same but they are actually better in a lot of ways! The main advantage of AirPods is that they work so seamlessly with other Apple products. So if you don't have an iPhone, I probably wouldn't recommend these. I love how sleek and compact they are because it makes it so easy to carry them with me everywhere. I personally bought an iPhone 15 Pro this year and I HATED that my old AirPods were the only device that I had that used lightning instead of USB C. So I was able to finally get rid of that lightning charger with these new AirPods. The new AirPods pro also have MUCH BETTER battery life, sound quality, and noise cancellation from the old ones. I don't have to charge them nearly as much and they sound even better than they used to! They're great for listening to music and taking phone calls (though I sometimes have some friends and family complaining about my call audio when using AirPods.) Being able to have a convenient hands free experience is really important to me. In the box, you have multiple tip sizes for the AirPods, so if they don't fit well, make sure you try the other tips before returning. I also like that they added a spot to attach a lanyard. I personally am fine with putting them in my pocket, but I know a lot of people could benefit from that. Here are some cons/things to think about when buying AirPods: -Buy the AppleCare+ - so worth it. I put mine through the washer once and they replaced the whole set for $30. I also had a battery issue with my old ones once and it was free to replace the case. Basically if you damage them, you pay $30 and if there's no damage, there's no deductible. The Apple Store employee told me that I would have had to pay $90 for ONE PIECE if I didn't have AppleCare so totally worth it! -If you hate seeing scratches on the white case (not covered by AppleCare) then I would really recommend getting some kind of case. Probably won't do much to protect them, but at least it will keep them looking brand new. -If you have an older phone that uses lightning, you might want to think about finding one of the older kinds that has the lightning case. I HATED having to use multiple chargers so if you're like me, then you might want to try to buy those instead... But just know that all tech companies are moving to USB C for everything because of an EU mandate.

Absolutely amazing
These AirPods Pro are really good. The sound quality is clear, the bass is nice, and the noise cancellation works better than I expected. They connect fast and feel comfortable even when using them for a while. The case is easy to carry around and the battery life has been solid. Overall they feel premium and are definitely worth it.

Other than glaring white, theyโre kind of perfect.
Iโm too old to be one of those guys who wears AirPods everywhere. I listened to music while I work, and I worked mostly from home, so I was never tempted to be that guy and considered the habit a presumptuous affectation when Iโve encountered others who wore them in public. And Iโve had other competent noise-cancelling buds and was never tempted to wear those when out. Sure, they made hearing phone conversations easier in noisy environments, but I rarely talked on my phone when in public spaces, because, yeah, that felt presumptuous too. Then I switched to an iPad Pro-Magic Keyboard combo from a Windows laptop as my primary work device, which convinced me to migrate from Android to an iPhone, so investing in AirPods just made sense, given Appleโs matchless ecosystem integration. Now, when a call comes in via my iPhone, while Iโm working and listening to music on the iPad, I can answer the call from the iPad through the same AirPods with zero effort. I just tap and talk as if the iPhone were in my hand. And I can hear the caller even better with the AirPods than with other buds. Plus, the AirPodsโ ANC doesnโt cause the mild sense of pressure the others did. But thatโs not all. The AirPodsโ transparency mode is so scary good, I can hear every external sound โ especially voices! โ better with than without them, and thatโs why Iโm now tempted to wear them in public and have had to revise my previously negative opinion of others who do. Oh, and the spatial audio feature? I expected that to be a gimmick, but itโs accurate yet subtle, and having tried it, I no longer use the AirPods without it. Bottom line: If you see me out and about with AirPods in my ears, Iโm not trying to drown you out. Iโm trying to hear you better amid whatever cacophony surrounds us. And as with the iPad, having experienced the AirPods Pro 2, thereโs no going back. Iโm not an audiophile, so I canโt rate that aspect of the AirPods. I can only report that the base, mids, and highs sound as crisp and clear as through anything else Iโve used. I listen to recordings now that I first experienced in the โ50s and โ60s, and I hear elements I couldnโt know existed back in the days of AM radios with mono speakers. The AirPods have been a revelation in that sense, too. As for fit, I travel by bicycle and now wear the AirPods to better hear turn-by-turn directions (for safety, I keep them in transparency mode when on the bike), but however actively Iโm pedaling, I havenโt felt at risk of the AirPods falling out of my ears. Plus, theyโre comfortable enough that I can wear them the full ~six hours I pedal each day when traveling. What would I change? Well, theyโre white, and in my perfect world, theyโd be the color of darker skin, so the fact that Iโm now a guy who wears AirPods in public wouldnโt be so obvious. Tan, brown, or black would be nice options. Otherwise, theyโre kind of perfect.

Excellent
The Good ----------------------- * Excellent noise cancelling -- people have been mowing the lawn outside my open windows and it would be little more than a faint rumble * Audio quality is top notch with respectable fidelity ranges for the size The Bad ---------------------- * I seem to have ear canals that defy the tips for earbuds. I've tried all the sizes that come with the buds and they still like to come loose in my ear requiring pretty regular maintenance of pushing them back in. * Apple's obsession with a small form factor means there's very little room for a battery, making it necessary to have a case that also doubles as a charger with its own supplemental battery * Sometimes, no matter how many times I try, the touch sensors on the bud stem don't seem to recognize my press and I have to resort to using my phone to change from "hearing aid" (for when I'm near a busy intersection, or need to be able to hear my order being called) to noise canceling mode * The bud stems are so close to your ear/face that it can be hard to use the touch sensors on the stems The Nitpicky --------------------- * The conversation awareness function is interesting, but sometimes triggers too easily, like if a burp comes on so fast I don't have time to suppress it, or a sneeze The Verdict --------------------- They are expensive, but worth it. You might be able to find something almost as good at a much lower price, but if years of experience with consumer electronics has taught me anything it's this: You can pay now in cash, or you can pay later in installments of frustration and wasted time. More a rule of thumb than hard and fast, but it's surprising how often you come across people who made electronics purchases based purely on price and quickly came to regret their decisions.

Absolutely worth it, to me.
I understand the rave reviews. The audio quality is outstanding for a Bluetooth device. Iโm 65, yet even at very low volume high/mid/ low pitches are sharp and clear. The active noise cancelling completely muffles sounds as diverse as barking dogs, TVs, a crackling fireplace, and the high-volume cacophony found driving a semi at 80mph. I donโt have to *pretend* I donโt have to pretend I didnโt hear my wife and her honey-do list. I do find the conversational awareness feature is.. a little slow to recognize Iโm talking or somebodyโs else is. Itโs only a couple seconds, but thatโs enough to sometimes miss important data. Still, going into it with that in mind, itโs an outstanding feature. Iโd love to go *squeee*! over the spacial audio. I would, if virtually everybody else werenโt doing the exact same thing. I will simply say I wish Iโd bought a SA device when they first came out. Itโs scary good. Even after a month or more of using these daily, I still marvel at it. Phone calls in noisy environments could be better. While I can hear the other end just fine even if Iโm standing next to a loud generator, the microphone control/noise cancelling makes it difficult for the person on the other end to understand me. My Bluetooth headset- with a boom mic- handles this much better. Yes, thereโs a huge difference in both the distance from mouth to mic and in the actual direction of the sounds from my mouth. Apple has done a great job, but.. a headset with a boom mic would do you better for phone calls in a noisy environment. The manual controls on the stem are a nice idea. They probably work well if you have normal sized fingers. My hands and fingers are larger that those of most people. While I can use the stem control, I generally have to be a little careful or Iโll send the wrong signal. Itโs not a big issue and Iโve acclimated to it, and itโs to be expected with the shorter stems on the Pro version. The system works well, just be prepared for a learning curve, even if it is shallow. For me and my use- mostly listening to audio with maybe two calls a day- a full charge lasts pretty close to five hours. Nothing Iโve done really makes much of a difference. Iโve found that charging the Air Pods from zero to 100% takes about half an hour in the supplied MagSafe charger. The charger itself takes about the same amount of time to go from 40% to 90+%. Less than an hour to reach 100%. Note, I donโt have a wireless charger. I plug it into a 2W wall brick. The case would probably charge a lot faster on a good wireless pad. One thing I donโt like, though I canโt really offer a better solution is that I canโt tell the charge status of the case without the air pod inside. Yes, thereโs an amber/green momentary LED on the case, but is too broad an indicator for my taste. To get an accurate figure, you have to put the air pods in the charging case and open it near your phone or iPad. Thatโs โฆ clunky. I know other systems would use more power, but call me obsessive. Maybe just let me ask Siri? Air Pods Pro (v2) comes with four sets of silicone tips that are easily changed to fit your ear canal. They are very comfortable and are part of the noise cancellation system. For all that Apple should be lauded for not trying to go with a โone size fits all โ solution, none of the tips actually fit me all that well. While all sizes did their job noise cancelling, after an hour or so they need to be reseated. On more than one occasion Iโve had an air pod fall out of my ear while Iโm simply walking. Itโs much worse if Iโm eating or talking. I honestly donโt know how they could do a better job given the job requirements, just be aware these donโt fit deep in the ear canal like hearing aids. Finally, the color. At first I was mildly unhappy that white is the only color choice. After having the fall out of my ear more than once and simply dropping them because Iโm clumsy, Iโve come to realize the color is a brilliant choice. Basically, theyโre easy to find no matter where Iโve dropped them. I didnโt even have much of a problem when I dropped one in a foot of snow. All in all, the Apple Air Pods Pro (v2) arenโt perfect. Thereโs definitely room for improvement. But not much. Theyโre quite a bit more expensive than I really wanted to pay. But, having done so, Iโm glad I did. There are better similar audio systems out there, but they arenโt - in my opinion- worth the price difference. I almost gave them 5 stars, but.. the charge status system just annoys me. Itโs just too clunky. In spite of that, Iโm very glad I opted to spend the bucks to get Apple Air Pods Pro.

Exceptional Sound and Convenience - Worth Every Penny!
I upgraded my son with the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) Wireless Ear Buds with USB-C Charging, and they have exceeded all my expectations. Here's why he says he loves them: (with my creative momma's touch, of course: Sound Quality: The sound quality is phenomenal. The bass is deep and rich, while the mids and highs are crisp and clear. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is impressive, effectively blocking out background noise, making these perfect for everything from commuting to focusing in a noisy environment. Comfort and Fit: The new design fits comfortably in my ears, and the multiple ear tip sizes ensure a secure fit. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort, which is a big plus for long listening sessions or conference calls. Convenience: The USB-C charging is a great addition. It charges quickly, and I love that I can use the same charger as my other devices. The battery life is excellent, with up to 6 hours of listening time on a single charge and even more with the charging case. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to play, pause, skip tracks, or answer calls without needing to reach for my phone. Integration with Apple Ecosystem: As expected, the integration with my other Apple devices is seamless. Switching between my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook is effortless, thanks to the H1 chip. Durability: They feel solid and well-built. Iโve used them during workouts and in light rain without any issues, thanks to their water and sweat resistance.

Good ANC earbuds
It's been 2 years since I've got these and I have to say, I can't live without them. They're mot as good as noise-cancelling headphones, but they noise-cancelling very well. In normal noise circumstances, at least (ex. obviously if you're near a construction site, it will be hard to noise cancel completely). It easily fits into my jean pockets (very portable) and I love the hole it has to loop it with a lanyard. I'd say they were very worth it, at the time I purchased it. Now that they have the Airpod Pros Gen 3, that one might be more worthy compared to the Gen 2. Heard they might have better ANC, but I have yet to try them. For now, my Gen 2s work just fine, so will stick with them.

AirPods Pro 2: The Ultimate Wireless Earbuds Just Got Better
Apple has truly outdone itself with the AirPods Pro (2nd Generation). From sound quality to smart features, every aspect feels like a meaningful upgrade over the original and easily makes these the best wireless earbuds Iโve ever used. First off, the sound quality is phenomenal. The improved H2 chip delivers noticeably richer audio with deeper bass and crystal-clear mids and highs. Whether Iโm listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the clarity and balance are top-tier. Adaptive EQ and Personalized Spatial Audio make everything sound tailored specifically to me. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is in a league of its own. It's significantly better than the first-gen AirPods Pro, blocking out everything from airplane engine noise to background chatter at a cafรฉ. And when I need to stay aware, Transparency Mode is more natural than everโitโs almost like not wearing earbuds at all. Another game-changer? Battery life. I get up to 6 hours on a single charge with ANC on, and over 30 hours with the case. The new MagSafe charging case now includes a built-in speaker and Find My support, which is incredibly handy if you're prone to misplacing things like I am. Comfort is still excellent. The updated ear tips (including a new XS size) provide a secure, customizable fit for all-day wear with zero fatigue. And the new touch controls on the stems make adjusting volume, skipping tracks, or answering calls effortless. If you're in the Apple ecosystem, the seamless integration is unbeatable; quick pairing, automatic switching between devices, and hands-free โHey Siriโ functionality all work flawlessly. Bottom line: the AirPods Pro 2 are a masterclass in refinement. Whether youโre upgrading from the first-gen or buying your first pair, these are the gold standard for wireless earbuds in 2025. An easy 5 out of 5 stars.

Apple AirPods Pro 2
These arrived well packaged, and quickly. These are replacing another brand that was reviewed all over Youtube as being just as good as the Airpods....sure they are....sure they are.... We purchased two pairs as our "just as good" units started failing a couple months after owning them. The AirPods arrived, connecting instantly to an iPhone 12, and 14. For over a year now, we have been using these AirPods daily. We can absolutely confirm that the other units were NOT "just as good". There is literally no comparison. Every detail in the description list for the AirPods delivered an experience beyond our expectation. The AirPodsare simply better than anything else we have ever tried, and we are not huge Apple fans, but you have to give credit when its due. The noise cancelling, brilliant. The sound/audio is incredible. Using them with your phone during calls, likely their best feature. An example of this, my husband will be working on the ground with the equipment and gear while I operate our Skid Steer (bobcat). We can talk quietly back and forth as he guides me in at the dump sites for perfect drop placement or as he inches me in under a sensitive lift with the fork attachments. We literally talk to each other like the equipment is off, discuss the next step in the job, and ultimately these AirPods allow us to get some much more accomplished in the day with less stress. You won't find Apple pitching that feature, but they should. These little AirPods do everything, and some much more. Several other companies pitch a similar product, but in the end the user experience is less than you hoped. Worst of all, if you buy the cheaper options like we did, you could have saved that $$, and put it towards a set of these AirPods reducing the overall price, almost like a coupon you didn't realize you had. Buy once, cry once as they say. Buy these with absolute confidence. Great product
