As i was leaving the skirting boards in place, i needed something to fill a 20mm gap at the top of units to anchor them to the wall. Using these meant i only needed to drill a single hole at each anchor point, instead of having to drill multiple holes in the wall if i was going to add a wooden batten to fill the gap. These also let me fine tune the spacing on the back, to make the units sit flush with each other, even with the unevenness of my old walls. Little tip, while it's nearly impossible to place the spacers in when you have the PAX against the wall if you're going right into a corner.
