DIY Zevo refills for MUCH less --- more than 90% discount :) :) :)
UPDATE - These have been working extremely well for me. I am adding my template. I cut the pieces three and five-eighths inches wide. I only cut one side and the top of my refills, for the other side and the bottom I use the edges of the trap. Although I wrote the height on the template, it's just the height from the red line to the bottom of the trap. Since the top of the trap isn't sticky, I cut most of that part off. I made the decision that it's ok to have adhesive almost all the way to the top. You could make them longer and cut the arch and dip farther up from the red strip. You would have more adhesive-free area to pull the trap off, but it also starts to get harder to pull the trap out from behind the bar on the Zevo insert. Happy catching! I am extremely happy about how well this product worked for a slightly off-label use. It turns out that this product makes a very reasonably-priced replacement for the grossly overpriced, proprietary Zevo UV light refills. Here's my story... A certain person let in some flies this summer and their progeny have been an extreme annoyance ever since. I ended up trying out an (overpriced) UV nightlight with fly paper, otherwise known as a Zevo flying insect trap. I didn't know if it would work, but I was sort of desperate. It turns out that once I found a good outlet for the light - not over a countertop with cabinets overtop but on a bare wall nearer the floor - the Zevo did a really good job at catching bugs, both the flies that I knew we had and a few fruit flies that I didn't even know were around. I wasn't entirely happy with it, though, since this is a $20 nightlight that uses UV light and refills were $7.50 for a two-pack. Fly paper seemed to work almost as well and is only 50 cents a roll. Flypaper is really gross, though, and I couldn't put flypaper in the room the flies liked, so the much more attractive and expensive nightlight won out. Since the light trap worked, my next problem was the refills. The refills have a special shape and a plastic insert that needs to be pushed into the lamp for it to be turned on. A reasonable safety feature since this light produces a little UV light, but also very convenient for Zevo in that it makes substitutions much harder. After examining the refill, I realized that it was just some sticky goo on a plastic sheet, and the glue could be scraped off. I went ahead and scraped off the glue. I STRONGLY STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend doing this with a new refill before it has any insects on it. Just trust me on that one. I first tried replacing their adhesive with double-sided tape which didn't work and was a real pain to get back off. Then I did some research online and found this product. Unlike the other fly window papers that I had found on Amazon or elsewhere, this one is bigger and I don't have to piece together two strips each time. Unlike double-sided tape, there's just a small strip of adhesive on the back. Enough to stick, not enough to cause much trouble when removing the trap for disposal. Turns out that the trap sheets are big enough that I can cut the papers in half and then trim them slightly and they fit the Zevo light very well. I'm still working on placement and hope to add photos if I can get the template just right. For now, I've put the 1/2 sheet fly traps just under the top plastic tab in the refill, rounded the bottom edges a bit, and it works. Within just a couple of minutes, I had my first victim. The window fly trap stays in the Zevo light well and is easy to remove. Yes, it's maybe 10 minutes of annoying work to remove Zevo's adhesive in the first place - but their refills are two for $7 or $3.50 each. With these (at the current price), it's 24 XL sheets for about $13 which means I get 48 refills (each sheet is cut in half) for that price or about 27 cents each. That's more than a 90% discount over Zevo's prices and means I can justify using the light. Also, when the Zevo company makes a product with the intention of requiring your repeated patronage for that product to continue working, then prices the refills so unreasonably, I must admit that I am filled with a sense of devious satisfaction when I rip one of these window traps off their refill and slap a new one in its place. Excellent easy to use chemical-free fly traps
I love these fly traps and place them on our windows. Not sure what’s happening, but there’s been a big influx of house flies (and I mean a lot of them). I just place them on our windows, the flies get trapped, throw it out, and place a new fly trap on the window. These are easy to use, chemical free and work great.

Worth the buy
It’s not the stickiest what will catch EVERYTHING. BUT it does a decent job of catching most insects. It’s easy to put on, clear until it’s covered with bugs and has no smell. I would say Good value for the cost.

Good for gnats
Works good for small flys/gnats, even caught a small spider.. Easy to use and figure out. I was hoping it would work for box elders too but it is not made for those and they walk right off.

They do the job
Arrived same day as ordered, which was good. Somehow got a swarm of house flies. The large size allowed cover large window area. Put them on that night. Caught all the flies the next morning and haven't seen one since. I think because of the size and extra adhesive strip to hold it flat would be good and they are quite as invisible as smaller strips but did the job.

Worth It
Two flies flying around like lunatics in our kitchen right. This has been going on for several days. It’s getting on my last nerves and honestly I wasn’t sure what to do, fly swatters are too slow because flies can see in slow motion, giving them an advantage. I have used these window sticky squares for over a year now and they’ve worked on everything from to mosquitoes to fruit flies. I put one lower down on the window (that’s where they usually hit in flight) and within 30 seconds, one had landed on the pad. Can say these work!!! They’re easy to setup and fit on just about any flat surface

Bugs have NO chance.
I've been using window fly traps for years. This brand works well for all types of bugs. I moved to the Mid-South 5 years ago and this is the buggiest place I've ever lived. Bugs I have never seen before, all trying to invade my home. I put these on all our windows. ALL OF THEM. I need to switch some out after only a month because they are full of bugs. Some last six months or more. But the point is, the bugs squeeze through the window jam and into my house where they get stuck on the adhesive. (I never open my windows, ever!) It's awesome. Just imagine how many bugs would be inside my home if I didn't use these. YUCK! So glad I knew about these before I moved here, and so glad I bought this brand because they work awesome, even after being up for months. I've attached pictures of several on a window that is a problematic area of my home, the Breakfast Room. It's a corner room with lots of windows and tons of light. The bugs are just attracted to this area. I even spray for bugs on the outside and still get this many bugs invading my home. HINT: Wipe down the area (window, walls, sill, blinds) with a vinegar and water solutions when you replace the window clings, especially the windowsill. This will actually help persuade the bugs from entering for a while. Plus, you get really clean windows too.
