Suitable for every type of opening window or door. Can be fitted to all materials. Key lockable for individual locks or Multiples. The lock will always engage when the key is removed. Security screws are provided for wood, steel, aluminium and upvc. Holding force of 3000N. Meets British standard EN 14351-1: 2006 for windows and doors. Tested and passed to BS EN 1670: 2007 Class 3 - subjected to a neutral salt test. Please note: both cable and lock should be fitted with screws of a suitable size and design for the individual window construction. Supplied keyed alike as standard with one key per lock. Review: Top quality product - I was looking for a well built window cable lock, and came across this one. Many restrictors that I found were cheaply made and the "lock" was little more than something that could be turned with a flat screwdriver. HOWEVER the Jackloc restrictor has a 5 lever lock, with a proper key. The cable is securely fitted and I can see that this will last a lifetime. I chatted by email with the company (in the UK) to ensure that this would meet my requirement, and I'm very happy to say that it does. I even have one fitted to my front door (instead of a door chain). Having the ability to unlock it, means that even if one of us is out and the other is using the restrictor, I can unlock it to let myself in.
