This is not the slimmest or lightest of products - it is an older model (there is a newer model on desertcart). It does work with Windows 7. As it is an older product it does not come with Windows 7 drivers, however, due to it being a D-Link product there is great online support for you to download the updated drivers (you can install a Windows XP driver that comes on the disc which will work to get you online to update the driver). After using the product for a month or so I noticed the blue screen of death appearing in Windows 7 and so I looked at the Windows updates and there was an updated driver there for this product - so it is well supported. After installing the updated driver there has been no problems. Would recommend this if you are just looking for a basic adapter with good online driver support for good value. Review: Did what I needed with a little modification - Bought this to connect to Audi MMI.
