### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick read and decent introduction to a specific options trading strategy

Overall this is a short/quick read. The first half of the book covers the psychology of money and your relationship with money, which sort of seems out of place, but is in fact an important part of trading stocks. My personal feeling is that most people that are looking into options are not first time traders so that can certainly make that part feel unnecessary. If that's you, feel free to skip the first few chapters. I did like that there was a section to define all the terms that are used in options trading. If you are new to options, you will need to dog ear that part because you will be coming back to it, as the author uses the terms as though you know them well throughout the book. I kept having to stop and process all the terms to make sure I understood what was actually being said. That was frustrating, but the reality is that I've tried to understand options a few times over the years and the terminology has always been the part that I've struggled getting my head wrapped around. Rather than focusing on the psychology part, I wish authors (any author) would spend a few chapters just helping people get comfortable with the terminology and what, in lay terms, that translates to. If you are like me in that area, then definitely spend some time on youtube as there are some decent channels out there that can help with understanding the terms a bit better. All that being said, I do believe this is a worthwhile book as it covers the author's strategy for trading options pretty well and is a pretty good introduction to options. I wish that more time was spent covering examples of when things do NOT go your way to be able to see the down side of these transactions rather than just positive outcomes and how to protect yourself in those cases. But I also understand that this is more of an introduction rather than some sort of deep dive. The author also offers some spreadsheets that will help you track your trades, which I think is highly valuable and a nice bonus. Also, a shout out to ErnieTheMillionareMaker on TikTok for recommending this book.
