Why is my portable monitor not reaching 4K@60Hz?

To output 4K@60Hz, both your laptop and portable monitor must support DisplayPort Alt Mode and DP 1.4 (typically via USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, USB4, or Thunderbolt 3/4/5 ports). Also, make sure your device and monitor drivers are up to date.

Why can’t I get 20Gbps transfer speed?

20Gbps requires both your host device (laptop) and accessory (SSD, docking station) to support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 or higher. If either side only supports 10Gbps (Gen 2) or 5Gbps (Gen 1), the speed will automatically downgrade to match the lower standard
