The best big bag quality seed on the market
This is NOT that big bag of cheap seed that’s sitting on the floor of your local supermarket. Heavy on the millet and sunflower seeds but light on the cracked corn and NO MILO. The bag is heavy so be prepared to pick up a heavy oblong box but the seed bag is made out of thick plastic so it seldom breaks. Birds love it.

No mix is perfect but this is one of the best I've come across
I have only put this out in the yard for a couple of days, but with plenty of experience with lousy birdseed blends, here is my review. Being a bit of a lab nerd with a lot spare time, I took a 100g sample and used sieves and some hand picking to separate the ingredients. The results, by weight: 40% sunflower, 35% millet, 25% corn, and 5 peanuts weighing less than 1 gram. More corn than I would like, but notice: 0% milo! At least cracked corn doesn't sprout all over your yard, and one mix I tested was over 70% milo plus cracked corn (probably a great mix if you want to attract wild turkeys). There are a lot of reviews for mixes I've tried and rejected, and they usually do not mention what species "love" the product. This one will attract doves, finches, sparrows, junkos, grackles and other small, seed eating birds. There is a high percentage of corn, but it is cracked into (mostly) smaller pieces than other mixes I've use. I don't know which birds are eating it (or maybe it's rodents), but most of the corn is being consumed by some critter. And no more milo sprouts all over the yard! I do get a few millet sprouts, and the sunflower hulls make a major mess, but overall it's a pretty good mix.,

Attracts All Kinds of Birds!
Great quality. Great mix of seeds. Our birds love it so much, there is literally no mess!

Best I have found. Worth the price.
Considering the cost , this is the best readily available bird seed I have found. It still has a preponderance of millet seed, (which, I guess some birds eat, but those around here just flick aside) but it includes a greater proportion of sunflower than most and it includes meal worms. I'm not gonna sift out the millet, but it's easy to "dress up" w/ more sunflower, worms, and peanuts and raisins. There is better birdseed out there, but for the price, and for general feeding, this is the best I have found.

My Country Birds Aren't Impressed
I maintain several bird feeders - for suet, as well as hopper-fed. I was looking for a food that the birds would like and avoid some of the mess under the feeder. This seemed to fit the bill, so I put it into my tube feeder that has a small "platform" at the bottom. Well, the seed only lasted 2-3 days (MUCH faster than before), but the birds weren't eating it - they were scattering it on the ground. Also, I noticed that the birds that DID eat it weren't the birds I wanted to feed; my cardinals were now missing and had gone elsewhere for food. I will say that I did have doves that I hadn't had previously (they're ground feeders). I have another tube feeder with a different type of feeding port, so I'll try it; hopefully the birds won't just scatter it on the ground. So yes, I'm disappointed. I have to find another seed for my country birds as well as cardinals.
