I purchased it to hold all of the parts and pieces for my home based craft and jewelry making business. The bins are the perfect size for this. I was worried that the bins would be made from hard plastic and therefore break and chip easily but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the plastic has a little give to it so that the bins will be able to withstand a lot more wear and tear than I thought they would. After reading all of the reviews that complained that this unit was a real pain to put together I can assure you that it was anything but. I am a 54 year old woman who has never assembled a piece of furniture in her life but I had no difficulty whatsoever putting this unit together by myself. Just make sure you read over the instructions carefully before you begin and follow them while you are assembling the unit and you will have no problems. As for those who stated that there were so many screws to screw in...most of the screws were already screwed into the unit...you simply have to loosen some of them in order to fit the racks into place and then tighten them up again. As far as screws you have to screw in yourself I believe there were only 27 of them which is a minimal amount for a unit such as this. The instructions are very easy to follow. I had this rack completely put together and was filling it up with my parts and pieces within an hour. I just can't express to you how pleased I am with this unit. I am so pleased in fact that I will be purchasing another one very soon. If you purchase this product you will not be disappointed. This bin rack was worth every penny I paid for it and then some.
