Designed to combat dye migration common in synthetic athletic wear, it offers superior opacity, excellent bleed resistance, and durable heat-cured prints that endure repeated washings. Ready to use with optimal viscosity, it supports both manual and automatic printing setups. ## Description Polyester low-bleed plastisols (POLY) are Union's ultimate high-opacity low-bleed plastisols formulated to fight dye migration on the nastiest, bleeding 100% polyester athletic uniforms or other synthetic substrates prone to dye migration. It is formulated to provide excellent printing characteristics and is designed for both manual and automatic printing. Contact seller if you require SDS (Safety Data Sheet). Opacity: Polyester low-bleed plastisols are high-opacity, low-bleed inks. Mesh: Print through 74T-110T (29-34 metric) monofilament polyester. For maximum opacity use 62T (24 metric). Additives: These inks are supplied ready to print. Since plastisol inks “body up” as they sit in the container you should always stir the ink well to determine the actual printing viscosity before adding any reducer. The viscosity of Polyester low-bleed plastisol has been carefully formulated to sit on top of the fabric when printed. Reducing will cause the ink to penetrate into the fabric, affecting coverage. Any chemical modification will also diminish the ink's bleed resistance. Printing: For the best coverage, bleed resistance, and brightest prints, adjust the off-contact distance and squeegee pressure to print the ink layer on top of the printed fabric rather than pushing the ink entirely through it. Also be sure to follow recommended emulsion coating techniques as well as exposure settings. Curing: Plastisol inks will not air dry and must be heat cured. Polyester low-bleed plastisols will fully cure and withstand repeated washings when the entire thickness of the ink deposit reaches 300°F (149°C).
