Women's Emmie Ballet Flats

I've been looking for ballet flats like these that were made well and comfortable. These fit the bill. They do seem to run small. I originally ordered a 9 but returned them for a 9.5.

These are super comfortable. And look just as pictured and love the wide sizes!

These are super cute, but I had to return them since they weren't wide enough. I even ordered the wide and it still seemed like a narrow shoe.

I wear size 12 in shoes & 13 in boots. Needless to say finding nice shoes that are comfortable & fit well is difficult. However, these 'Lucky brand leather flats are outrageously comfortable made w/ a soft & supple leather. I also own 4 pair of Tieks & my Lucky shoes are the shoes I grab for 1st w/ my 'Tieks' being my 2nd choice. The Lucky brand fit the foot properly. They are very comfortable to wear all day...12 or more hrs. In comparison, the Tieks, though they appear to be well made w/ Italian leather, sits funny at the heel & no way could I wear them for more than a few hrs @ a time. I've tried various silicone & other shoe inserts of various material trying to make the Tieks work out esp considering my $$ investment for 4 pair of Tieks. My Lucky shoes need NO shoe inserts, are a lovely soft leather & available in as many colors/ patterns as the Tieks at a HUGE cost savings. Let's be real...Tieks are waaaay overpriced. I'd challenge the Tieks against the Lucky brand any day. Im a 'Lucky brand convert! The Lucky shoes are true to size.

These shoes are SO cute. I really wanted to love them. As it is, I am glad that I was able to buy them at a good price, or I would really be kicking myself for wasting money. I like Lucky clothing. Their jeans fit me well and they have good quality, attractive tops for women. I have been wanting a pair of nice flats and I am not willing to spend a small fortune to get those tieks that are being promoted all over the internet. So, whats' up with these adorable banana print flats? They run small- I usually wear between a 7 and a 7.5 regular width. I ordered these in a 7.5 after reading that they run a bit small, but not all over. My big toe is bumping right up against the front of the shoe, and the seam across the top of the foot digs into my flesh. I have been wearing them around the house with socks to try to stretch them, and it does appear to help. These are cloth shoes, and I don't know how much they will stretch. But each time I wear them, they are a bit less painful. Now the weird part is that my heel is not snug at all- it feels rather loose and can flop up and down and in and out of the shoe with little effort. A larger size would not be a solution, nor would a wider size, if it changed anything about the fit of the heel. The sole is flexible. There is no arch support. I didn't think that would bother me, but I may get an insert to offset the uncomfortable toe box problem. I plan to keep these anyway, and wear them out to dinner or to events that don't run very long. The quirky print is just my style. Just be aware that these flats run small in front and wide in back.

Our daughter was able to wear one pair of these for a full school year last year without any issues. This year we bought another pair, one size up that looked identical, but sadly they sole started separating on the front within the first 3 days of wear. Then week outside of the return/replacement time the rear soles of both sides came off of the shoe! No rough housing or gym classes in these shoes. Just normal walking around during school only. I’m not sure what’s changed or if it’s just bad luck, but for a $50 pair of leather slippers shoes one would expect them to last a few months, not a few days to weeks. Very disappointed in the quality of these this year and will not be purchasing again.

I ordered both these and the Chaste Ballet in Nude Size 11. I could tell right away that the Hush Puppies would be painful in the heel and top of my foot at the toebox area, needing a lot of breaking in. The sole of the Lucky Brand is perfect, while I noticed (in my other Chaste as well) that the sole of the foot is distinctively separate between the heel and ball of the foot, making it easy to have your foot slip to one side or the other depending how you walk. Walking just a bit on the carpet, I could tell that the Hush Puppies were already having my foot slip off to the side of the heel. I did notice immediately, especially in comparing these with the Hush Puppies, that my feet would sweat a bit in these. Nonetheless, I kept the Nude Lucky Brand and love them. They fit perfectly and were immediately comfortable. No chafing/blisters at all since wearing. I preferred the color of the Lucky Brand nude over the Hush Puppies. The Lucky Brand are more of a off-white/very light beige, while the Hush Puppies are brighter, more white. Both brands show no toe cleavage on my feet. They hit just at the edge of the toe cleavage. Lucky Brand Emmie PROS -Comfortable immediately -Buttery soft -Great sole - no slipping side to side at all -Fit better (I would say in comparing that Lucky Brand fits just a bit smaller - maybe a quarter size - than the Hush Puppies) -Cuter toe box - not the extra/more pointed toe CONS -Do make your feet sweat a bit Hush Puppies Chaste PROS -Don't make your feet sweat -Comfy around edges depending on material (not the Nude - but yes in the Stud style) CONS -Longer/pointy toe box compared to Lucky Brand, which I don't find as cute -Foot slips off to side when wearing -Need to break in depending on material Good luck on your search for the perfect ballet flat!

The flats are very dressy and are comfortable! Only thing, they are a little big but if you order a size down/ smaller they would be too small. However, it's an easy fix because I will get shoe inserts that are self adhesive to prevent them from riding & slipping up; so it's not a big deal. Satisfied with the quality and you can't beat the price!

Although both marked 7W (the size I ordered), the right foot was noticeably smaller than the left one, probably a 6 or 6 1/2. And the shoe looked of very poor quality and workmanship.

These fit smaller. I’ve had a pair of the black and beige ones of these in size 7, and they fit perfectly. These ones are a bit tight. These also didn’t come in a box. The shoes arrived in a clear plastic bag and only one of them has tissue paper and a cardboard insert in it. One toe is also more rounded than the other.
