Excellent kid's bed frame
This bedframe arrived in a damaged packed but I was pleasantly surprised to find that none of the pieces had been damaged. The instructions were straight forward and there were no missing pieces, however some of the pieces were mislabeled. The instructions called the piece "N" and yet the piece was labeled "J2" which caused some confusion but was easily remedied. Assembly by one person took appx 1.5 hours. Once assembled the bed frame seems sturdy. I was impressed by the drawer assembly, it does not attach to the frame by rails but rather has roller balls on the bottom of the drawer that allows it to roll in and out of the frame. The drawers were bigger than I was expecting, which is a bonus. Fully assembled the frame looks a bit more awkward than depicted in the photos. The headboard is very short as is (assumably to better fit the headboard option sold separately). Without the separate headboard, the frame has to be placed against a wall to be as aesthetically pleasing as depicted in the photos. It does not affect sturdiness or function at all, merely aesthetics. I would recommend purchasing the separate headboard option. (Attached photo shows frame pushed up against a cube organizer where the separate headboard would go). All in all this is an excellent choice for a kid's bedframe, despite being particle board it is well constructed and very sturdy, with impressive storage.

Amazing for small rooms
I've had this bed frame for over half a year now and its amazing. Storage is nice. It holds weight well. Looks great againt a wall. Definitely worth the price.

Good deal, and better than even more expensive variants from others.
The 4 stars instead of 5 on "easy to build" is pretty typical for these furniture kits. We got short changed on one of the more seriously needed screws (10S), but had enough to put in half of them and it seems to hold it okay until I can get to the hardware store to buy more (shame on you Sauder). Everything else had enough to do what it said without any extras to make you wonder what to do with all the leftover parts (at least it wasn't a car engine with a piston sitting on the floor when I was done, so meh). One thing to note: the drawers don't have a housing to slide in. The drawers roll freely, via casters screwed to the bottom, on the floor with no affixing to side or bottom or any such thing. This actually works for me, but if you were looking for traditional drawers, this ain't it. Because of not being fixed/traditional drawers there is no way I can see to lock them if that was on your list of things to do. Anyway, all in all, it's a very good purchase and deal, so I recommend it for someone who wants a small bed with two small-ish drawers (the front looks big, about 9 inches tall, but the sides of the drawers are only about 4 inches deep). Oh, and the bottom of the drawers is really kind of flimsy card-boardy thing, but looks like it can be easily replaced by a thin piece of plexy or the like whenever it wears out (if it does, maybe it'll surprise me). Again: Good deal, GREAT price and well worth it overall.

good for the price
good size very sturdy and stable. assembly took about three hours by myself. using a drill is much easier just make sure you dont drill too deep because the screw will be visible through the material. drawers are spacious and deep not very tall and isn't connected to the frame they sit on "wheels" and roll in and out so you have to wiggle it into place sometimes. i had all the pieces and extra screws the manufacturer provided. it looks pretty nice considering the price.

It's not bad. Wasnt hard to put together but the drawers ...
It's not bad. Wasnt hard to put together but the drawers just roll on the floor into the empty parts of the bed. They are not attached in any way. I wish I knew this as my three yr old walks around with them. :/ they also are not smooth rolling on rug. Its good for the price but not awesome. Also two prices had a crack, but I believe it from shipping. Also once you build it be careful moving as the middle will easily break. It's heavy and only particle board.

Great purchase
Very sturdy bed! It was fairly easy to assemble, as well. Just pay close attention to the pictures so you donโt put something on wrong. Better if you have two people to work on it. My daughter and I had it put together in no time. Will probably be buying another for my son soon.

Beautiful product! Sturdy
Beautiful product! Sturdy, and relatively easy to assemble. There are a LOT of screws, and they all need to be hand-screwed in - do NOT use a drill, as you can strip the screws or damage the product! All pieces were accounted for. We chose not to screw in the 3 platform pieces that the mattress lays on; the bed is sturdy enough on its own without having to screw those pieces in. We actually ordered two of these and it took two of us about 1.5 - 2 hours to assemble the first one, and only about 45 mins - hour on the second one the next day (as we were already familiar with the directions from the first one). Pieces all lined up and pre-drilled holes all aligned with other pieces. Definitely worth the price and the amount of time it took to assemble!

Do Not Buy This Bed
This was the WORST purchase ever! First of all the bed was missing a couple pieces, no worries. We went to the hardware store and made do. One piece was broken, but no worries. We were 1/2 way into this and managed to fix it to work. When the entire bed was complete, we already could tell the quality was not good, but would work for a short time, but then the mattress would not fit!!! It was 2 inches too small than the description. We returned it, but UPS said the box needed to be new and charged $36 for a new one. Just insane! Took us 5 hours to put it together, take apart, all just to spend another hr putting her old bed back together and return this. We ended up loosing time and money. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this!

Its not actually hard to build
I am a 28 year old woman and i built this by myself in less than two hours, probably closer to one but it was a while ago. i did not find it too difficult at all. yes it is kind of weird that the drawers sit right on the floor but we do not have carpet so it is not hard to open them. you would not want this if you keep the bed away from the wall because there are openings for the drawers on both sides and it would just be open on one side. great bed for my son. if i ever needed another one i would definitely go with this. great for the price
