I'm looking for something cosmetic that will make my nails look smooth under the polish.** A: I put in two coats and then use a colored nail polish. When this dries it is a flat look, no shine but it does cover the ridges if you use 2 coats. I also add a clear shiny top coat if I want natural looking nails. Hope this helps **Q: Is this a treatment or nail polish or both? Do you need to take it off or does the formula soak into the nail?** A: This is both a nail treatment and a ridge filler. I use it as a base coat. You do have to remove it before a new manicure. This does not soak into the nail. **Q: Which product would be better to conceal staining on nail? The pink or camo?** A: Mine only says Makeover. But works great for me! Does not say pink or camo! I use about 3-4 coats. Works great for filling in ridges, & helps prevent breakage. I had been getting regular manicures for years and using gel and then dip powder to maintain color and shape. After several years, I got tired of the time it was taking and money I was spending. But my nails were in pretty bad shape from all the product the nail techs had been using. I tried this at random and at first it was just ok - but now it seems to really keep my nails looking finished and healthy and it definitely smooths them over and removes all the natural ridges.
