Reliable weatherproof connection
I wanted a suitable connector to provide a removable solar connection to a project I was building and this was just the job. Provides a nice reliable and waterproof connection. Hasn't given me any problems so far. I would imagine it would work well providing a nice quick access charger connection point on bikes, boats etc.

I bought this to fit to my VW Passat. It's stored in a garage but there's no heating in there. Using the OptiMate CABLE O-11 - Weatherproof battery lead, heavy duty/auto/marine to connect this item to the car battery and installing it in the weather panel under the windscreen / windshield allows me to easily connect the battery to a charger overnight. The quality is very very high and this is clear as soon as you unpack it. It seals well and so far is keeping up with our MidWest winters.
