I used the 50lbs. completely around my pond and in all shallow areas. I knew that I could not get 100% of the pond by hand. I used a boat to make sure I could get the shallow areas of my pond. I also treated the stream feeding my pond. After 2 weeks I have seen very little algae. I have just received my 2nd bag for 2nd application if needed. Once applied you can witness within 5 minutes the working action. The algae releases and surfaces. Within 3-5 days, algae that has not discharged out the spillway is now brown and dead. I have never witnessed a product work this well. My fish are hungry and healthy!
