Nice upgrade from my previous, older model. The count down timer is a nice way to track the lifetime of the bulb. Review: Replaced a 20 year old BA-ICE-1F that finally stopped working. The new model has a different boot end design and is not 100% compatible with my older system. The bulb connector is the same but the bulb sits too far out of the tube. So I had to cut away the circular plastic piece and adjust the ground wire so the bulb goes all the way in.
