BEST LEARNING i-Poster My World - Interactive Talking World Map for Kids

Best game ever! My 4 y/o loves this! He’s very interested about flags and maps now, he’s learning so much! So am I…. I ended up buying for my nephews and as a gift. Sometimes it glitches, but it’s ok, it’s a toy to be treated with respect! I also bought the body parts! Perfect set!

I have bought a ton of toddler toys over the years and this is the very best! I love that it is a poster. Do NOT use it laying on the ground -- MAKE SURE TO HANG IT ON THE WALL -- it takes up no space, does not need to be pulled out/put away, and it has given our little one endless hours of educational fun! I am SO glad we opted for a poster format and not e.g. an interactive globe! Could it be better? Yes: - Could have hooks/loops in the corners for hanging up, but I've made do with double-sided tape - The voice will keep repeating the question every ~15 secs; this is REALLY annoying when you are trying to explain something about the current question to your little one and you keep getting interrupted! Still, the overall benefits vastly out weigh the drawbacks/imperfections. Comment on it not having every country: this doesn't bother me at all -- it's got PLENTY and trying to cram everything in would probably have made it too crowded and overwhelming, so I actually think it was a good design decision to leave some out (a few dozen less-well known African nations and Pacific islands)

This product is really good. -> I loved the way, they gave different selection tabs for capital and country, landmarks, flags, population, fun facts. -> Even these options have, info mode and ? Mode. -> I am thankful for the volume up and down buttons. -> It would be even nicer, if we had a tab that said national bird, animals or emblem. Idid not try the fun facts tab yet, so i do not know, if they are listed there. But! It does have some things that left me wishing for more: 1. There are some countries(named in white) that the map does not give any info about. I wish they could do all the countries and oceans too. Since the world has both continents and oceans. 2. There is an ocean missing. Southern ocean. The reason might be that the space has been covered by all the flags. Still the southern ocean should be mentioned, as the map acts as a direct/indirect teaching tool. Leaving out one of the oceans is giving half knowledge. Half knowledge is dangerous. 3. It would be nice, if they had given a sturdy support width wise, as a strip right under the electronic controls(green part). Map keeps drooping at the ends of the green control box(I have the ‘My Body’ poster, which is not so wide, but started tearing at the ends of it’s yellow control box). That is the reason why, i pasted the world map, using painter’s tape. To distribute the weight and stop the map from drooping. I removed one star for this point (and the missing ocean). Listed are the changes recommended for the manufacturer and also notes for customers, so they know what to expect. Good luck.

This is one of my children's most favorite tool to use during school and even when we aren't homeschooling. We have had it for over 2 years and it is in great shape even after traveling with us. It folds up great and has taken a beating and continues to provide my boys with hours of education and entertainment. It has multiple modes that allows them to explore all different parts of the world including but not limited to: flags, languages, geography, capitals and country finds, and landmarks. I hightly recommend this product for anyone looking to have fun learning and exploring the world.

The best! There could be an error here and there with time if you store it improperly but by far this is the best investment in learning geography for your kids and even you as an adult will benefit. Make sure you spend time with the kids, don’t just expect this or any toy to do the work of a smart baby sitter. When they know enough then the kids spend time with it by themselves or compete with siblings, but always keep yourself available to interact. You can’t lose!

The children are enjoying it, especially the flag memorization. However, some countries are completely omitted out of existence.... Palestine for example. For this reason I would not buy again. Also, some parts of the map are unresponsive or mixed up. Why is North Korea grayed out and Greenland does not give any info? I would think that all countries are relevant for learning.

Grandson loved it. He loves to learn about different countries and their flags.

I got this for my daughters' room and they simply love it. I think this is an innovative way to combine analog and digital ways of learning for kids. The material is made of some kind of plasticized sheet, the likes of a table placemat. Occasionally, the kids touch the wrong areas that don't trigger anything, and maybe there's no clear indication of where you should touch. On the backside of its main unit (speaker), you'll find a recessed hole to fit a screw head to hang it on the wall. The item came with 3 pieces of AAA batteries needed to power it. I like that it has an auto-power off feature when the kids just leave it on after playing. Overall, I think it makes a unique and memorable gift for kids and have them learn about geography in a fun, interactive way.

Un gioco comprato per mio figlio di quattro anni e mezzo ma che e' divenuto il passatempo per tutta la famiglia. Molto divertente, facile da usare e con un inglese molto chiaro e comprensibile.
