4.5 Stars: Great quality, great output, needs more flexible mounting
Note about the photo: I dismantled my previous webcam's mounting and added a 1/4" camera/tripod mountable screw to screw the Anker webcam to for one simple reason: The Anker cam itself does have the very useful screw thread to mount to a tripod mount (thank goodness!) but on its own foldable monitor clamp there no twist movement. Sure you can tilt it up and down physically with the built in clamp, but sometimes I need to twist the camera a little. Maybe it's just me, I don't know. It may be a tiny but important detail to others. So with my DIY addon, I can now have 2 axis of movement on a hanging monitor stand., rather than the one axis. For that detail I would rate this 4.5 stars. Other than that, what I like: - solid unit - small - quality build - you can detach and use your own USB C cable! This is amazing as many webcams don't allow for this and invariably the supplied cable is never quite long enough to reach monitor to tower case. Being able to put in my own 1m+ cable and keep the cabling tidy is a remarkably good addition and I can slide it along the full width of my ultra-wide screen if needed. This ALSO makes it much easier to pack in a bag if you need that - tripod mountable screw thread on the bottom of the foldable clamp arm (not the unit itself)! Also a great addition - built in privacy slider which is coloured bright red so you can't mistake whether it's open or not (great design touch!) - the slider it not at all fiddly to use - slider does actually turn the cam off, not just cover it (the little "on air" LED goes off) - Capture quality is just great. Makes you realise how bad the cheap webcams are, and even better quality HD ones! - included software DOES allow for a kind of virtual tilt and twist / pan on the output but I'm old school and like the physical flexibility - included software does a good job at altering low light conditions, or if you have my problem, an often bright window behind your head which results in a hard to control light / dark balance between face and window. I can now make it look less like I'm working in nerdy darkness. OBS adds more control but to be fair the Anker software is very helpful - autofocus is quick enough and definitely good enough For the money it does deliver. It's obviously not a cheap camera and you do get good results for the expense as would be expected. What I don't like: - I wish it had a mini ball head mount somehow so allow for slight rotation in all 3 axes. My old webcam did without taking up too much extra space - the "on air" LED is white which is very subtle if you want that but personally I like a bright red dot for something that potentially affects my privacy Honestly that's about it. If you want a quality display/recording for less than €100 and which offers flexible cabling and packability, go for it.

A great little webcam
I found myself needing a webcam after adding 2 screens to my MacBook pro. Having the camera at an angle was less than ideal, and the MBP camera is 720p and a little fussy being the older M1 spec. Initially, I ordered another camera but sent it back as it wasn't possible to turn off the flicker from our downlights, and I could not get it to sit securely on the top of my monitor. This came, and it was very easy to set up - just plug it in. It sits securely on the top of my middle monitor and has a privacy lens (not sure I need it, but it can't hurt). Added bonus the port is USB C so it can be used with another cable if I take it on my travels. After installing the software, I had a bunch of pretty neat features, including anti-flicker and auto-tracking. Whilst the tracking is very cool, I found it distracting on a Slack call - it seems Slack zooms in a little more, and I found my head bouncing around the video square. It was a very good clear video, and the sound quality was also improved.

A bit big but powerful webcam for those that are needing more
Fantastic. I’ve been scouting for a new webcam for about 2 months and tested one camera, which I subsequently returned, and then finally came to this one. The box it came in was really small and I thought it odd, however the camera quality you can feel 100%. The camera is a little long so you may need a bit of space behind either your laptop monitor of external monitor if you’re mounting it there. There’s a section at the bottom that allows you to mount this on a tripod if you wish. 100% easy to use, as it’s simply plug and play. The wide angle is what I was looking for, if you’re wanting to show more then this is the camera for you. The AI features I don’t get to view as much as I use this camera for video calls but the feedback I get is that it skews everything crystal clear. Definitely recommend this webcam for anyone that’s looking for something better than their built in webcam.

I really wanted to like this webcam but in practice it's has too many problems
I work online and am frequently making Zoom calls during my working day. My main laptop is a high-powered 8-core Intel i9 MacBook Pro that can comfortably handle multiple video editing streams and audio workflows whilst multitasking. It has more than enough power to handle a webcam. I have been using another leading brand's 1080p webcam for a while with no problems at all (but that old webcam recently died). I bought this C310 as a replacement for that one. Sadly I find this webcam, although very promising, has too many issues running with my Macbook Pro to be useable. The main issues are video quality and processing delays that cause noticeable latency (lag) on the video stream. I can make it work as 1080p with a latency of around half a second, if I choose lossless mode and disable all the AI related functionality. In general mode, I cannot get it to run with less than 5 seconds latency. Half a second is way too long to get lipsync on a stream so one can image how frustrating 5 seconds is. On top of that the video quality in general mode is awful: fuzzy, soft, and poor colour gamut. In addition, 4K mode (when it works) appears to use algorithmic sharpening to upscale the image. It doesn't appear to really be a native 4K video source. Happy to be corrected on that but really it looks like it's sharpening/upscaling the image. Right now I am ready to return this product for a refund; if Anker support can provide a workaround for all the above issues I'd be prepared to resconsider, but it really feels like this product is fatally flawed. **UPDATE** To say that Anker's customer support has been as excellent as always; although they could not solve the problems for me, they have offered a full refund. So although I cannot recommend this product with my combination of hardware, I am consistently happy with this brand's customer service and I shall continue to be a customer of theirs.

Broke down just after the return window closed
I purchased this in August. When it arrived, Iwas quite impressed with the picture quality and features. However, this excitement didn't last long. The camera broke down shortly after the 30-day return period lapsed. It started flickering, the image was constantly switching from extremely overexposed to complete darkness, the camera started getting really hot to the touch, until eventing it will shut down completely and stop responding. I raised 3 support tickets with the manufacturer to try and resolve this under warranty. However, like all Anker rproducts, the customer support was nonexistent. I got a few very delayed copy/pasted messages with instructions on how to troubleshoot the problem. However, they were related to a completely different camera model which used a wireless connection. The advise was completely irrelevant and didn't provide a solution. After almost 2 months of no further reply, Amazon stepped in and issued a return lable for the defective product. While the camera has some great specs on paper, the build quality isn't great at this price tag. Expect to have to replace it within a month or so. It's best to go for one of the more reputable brands out there which offer similar or better functionality and more dependable readability and customer support.

Good quality webcam
From the moment you open it, It's got enough weight to feel premium and is made of a decent quality plastic. The adjustable base made it easy to fix to the top of a monitor or laptop and the standard mounting hole was a nice suprise to allow it to be mounted to a camera tripod. It's quite deep though so hangs out the back of the monitor, if you have your screen wall mounted - that's a problem. Sound and video quality are really good, the only let down was the Ai follow mode which moves in a jerky, snappy fashion, often a little behind the actual movement. If you are used to an iPad and the smooth fluid motion that camera follows you then this is a disappointment. Nevertheless, a decent camera with good resolution and audio just be aware 4k and Ai Follow can't be used at the same time.

Beautiful 4k camera
The Ankerworks camera is incredible. Stunning 4k quality, excellent auto focus and packet with features. I purchased the camera to use mainly for youtube and I'm highly impressed. Amazing value for money! The ankerworks software opens up tons of features that ensure exposure, colour and fps is looking perfect. I've tried around 4 usb webcameras in the past and this is by far the best one I've seen.

SOLID INVESTMENT
I researched a lot and watched many reviews. I think this is still the best value for money, high quality webcam out there. Anker products are so well built, and I have no reason to believe this will not be more of the same. For 65e it is considered a cheap webcam, but the specs and very good Anker app make it easy to use and a joy to get set up just as I want it. Lots of FOV options, exposure adjustments, and basically almost all the features of the highest quality webcams out there. I would recommend a cheap tripod or webcam stand for your desk if you do not want the bulk on the top of your laptop screen permanently. Recommended.

Conclusioni: buona qualità video e audio, buoni materiali costruttivi e servizio clienti molto efficiente
