You need to open it up to swap out the daughter board with your own daughter board from the original drive for your PS5 to work. So I had to use needle nose pliers to slowly twist it out from the bottom, a real pain in the butt! And after all that my discs are still unreadable. I don't know what else is the problem other than opening the drive again and cleaning the laser lense, which I didn't do yet...but my frustration just longs for my money back...
