It seems to help my back. When I feel strain in my back, I raise this up some and keep on working. Being able to move around is great bc 95% of my work is in my computer and I’m no longer stuck in the chair all day! Although I’ve not used the high $$$ one advertised on tv, I would say I don’t see how it could be any better than this one. This one rises straight up. Doesn’t move forward or backward. No shifting or shaking. Very sturdy.
