I took my 1/2 DeWalt Impact Drill, attached a 1/2-3/8 conversion socket, then was able to connect my impact drill to this socket and pull the bolt right off in about three seconds. Awesome. Now this is not at all a solve-all for rounded bolts, because it’s so bulky and won’t fit in a lot of places where bolts reside. Four of the other bolts on the front end of the drive shaft wouldn’t accept this socket because they were hemmed in by other metal ridges that prevented this from sitting on them. It does the job of having multiple bolt extractors and comes with a plastic box that fits nicely in to the corner of my toolbox. The only downside is that since it is a "once size fits all" tool, the diameter is a little larger than using traditional, individual bolt extractors. However, I don't feel this is enough to knock one star off. Looks very well made and looks like Craftsman tools of the past (as opposed to the harbor freight bolt extractors I have; which work well also but the metal is of much poorer quality) and should last a long time.
