Must have buy for TAH surgery
Size 12 short inseam in both Prana pants and Levi 545 fit me so I selected this binder in a size XL. I tried it on before my surgery and it fit, it also fit AFTER my TAH surgery so it accommodates the swelling that happened. *following Dr orders about icing helps minimize the amount swelling experienced, however I feel like even if I hadnโt done this it would still fit sue to the amount of stretch in this product. Due to the strong elastic in the three wide straps there is plenty of give to adjust the width and accommodate a variety of body shapes and levels of swelling. Hospital provided me with a basic Medline binder, which was elastic all over, with coarse velcro that immediately results in a ratty used look on day 1 of use (see my included images, the first few are this product and the last two are the medline). I like the Pazwean binder better because it is softer, the velcro style isnt as aggressive on the skin if it happens to touch while you are fastening it, and it still looks new after 5weeks of nearly continuous use and launderings (I only wear mine when standing or walking, though i did fall asleep wearing it on once while laying semi reclined. Itโs made of a soft breathable cotton and has quality stitching aka smooth stitching that doesn't irritate the skin. ~ Of special note the band is supposed to be worn with the tag facing OUTWARD away from the skin, that kind of threw me for a second as itโs in not in what I consider to be a normal tag location. The velcro on the binder is an interesting grade as its not coarse, I can run my fingers over it and it feels almost smooth but it definitely has grab to it and excellent hold when fastened in place offering SECURE compression that doesnt budge *assuming one has purchased the correct size for themselves. The securing capability is on par with the band provided to me by the hospital. I also felt the Pazwean binder is easier to secure around my body since its not entirely elastic (just the front part) less opportunities for the elastic to accidentally catch on the fabric while you are attempting to get it into place, at least during the first couple weeks when I was at my weakest and experiencing the most pain. It gradually gets easier as pain levels subside and become less frequent. It is helping alleviate my back pain (those are some of the muscles that have been helping me compensate during initial recovery) and made walking more tolerable (first couple weeks a walker also helped me a lot). Support at the surgery site is a MUST, it aids a lot in the recovery process. Liked this band so much I bought two, to alternate between washings. *update only one is really needed as I only ended needing it for about 2 - 2.5 months I chose this brand because of the high ratings and fair price. Happy to report the reviews are accurate! Very happy with it definitely recommend.

The best thing ever for post-op support
I love these binders! I have had mine for 2 years now, and still going strong. (Hand wash and hang dry!) I had major abdominal surgery in 2020 and needed support 24/7 for 8 weeks afterwards. Before surgery, I ordered 3 of these, because hospital binders absolutely suck. I got 1 in pink-just because- and 2 in plain ol' white, to look more "medical" to my skeptical surgeon-lol. I still wear them to this day for back support and to remind me to hold in my tummy! Still super-helpful to relieve pain and support the heaviness i feel when my body is collecting fluid in my belly because of my ongoing health issue. The things I LOVE about these binders: The size tag is on the OUTSIDE. Thank you so very much! Tags make me crazy-itchy!! The thoughtful little pockets on the insides! One in front over the pelvic area, and one in back over the lumbosacral area. They are perfectly sized for slipping those little "instant heat" warmers or 'ice' packs into. What a relief! I kinda wish there was one on the outside front, too, to hold my TENS unit, but you can't have everything... Hooray! Soft and comfy cotton next to your skin! Not itchy or or hot the way that those all-elastic binders are. The velcro doesn't curl or scratch. Doesn't feel bulky. Conforms to your shape- whatever it may be. You can easily adjust it wherever you need it. None of that either "tighter all over" or "looser all over" crap. Doesn't show under clothes- unless they are quite thin and/or tight. The price is right! So- what else do you want? These are the best things I've ever found. The dozens of other binders I have bought and hated went to Charity- hopefully some else can make use of them- because I couldn't. These are the ones for me!

Good belt but could be better
The material is thick and sturdy, the elastic is strong, and the Velcro is very fine that sticks easily and does not scratch is skin. It provides very good support to the stomach however, it is a touch too wide and can be painful to lower ribs if worn for long period of time.

Excellent support and size - without rolling or bunching...
I ordered this product because the binder I received from the hospital was short and kept rolling at the top and bottom when I sat down. I had 2 separate laparoscopic procedures done, with multiple incisions over my abdomen (10 in all) . This one is a full 5 inches longer than the hospital binder and what a difference! There is slight amount of boning in the back to keep the shape and prevent it from rolling up. The velcro doesn't look like much but is very strong and holds well, even when snugged up tight. I am short waisted, so this fits me from the bottom of my breast to my hip and has been the best support I've ever had. It keeps all my incisions supported throughout and I don't have uncomfortable "rolls" at the top and bottom of the binder - everything fits inside. I've used it around-the-clock for the past 5 days since I got it, and I could not be happier with the purchase - so much more comfortable and more support than the hospital binder. I dont think my incisions would have healed as well without it and I certainly would not have been as comfortable and mobile without it. It forced me to use good posture and good technique when moving around that first critical week with amazing support. I'm 9 days post-op, still using this binder and feeling great! Definitely recommend for any abdominal procedures- just remember your ice packs along with it those first few days and you're on the road to recovery! Don' t know what I would have done without it!

Good to sleep in - weird shape
This is one of the better ones I've used but it does have some pros and cons... Pro: I love how long it is. It goes all the way down over my C-section scar and far enough up to my bra to prevent a lot of weird spillover. This is a big plus because I've tried several of these and they all leave weird bulgy places because they didn't cover my whole torso. I don't have a long torso. It is relatively comfortable. I sleep in it. Cons: The biggest con is the shape. I didn't see this in the reviews I read, so maybe it's just weird on me, but when I put it on, one side of my waist is the stretchy material and the other side is the cotton. The stretchy material sinks into my waist creating an hourglass shape, but the cotton doesn't do that, so I end up with an S shaped torso. I can't wear it under anything form fitting because of that. The stretchy material is really pretty stretchy and not as supportive as some of the others I have. The boning is too flexible to really help with the support issue. Mine was also sewn backward but I just wear it backwards - that's not a big deal to me. Overall: I don't feel like this is supportive enough to wear during the day because of the way it stretches out when I'm wearing it. I wear the UpSpring - UpSpring Shrinkx Belly Postpartum Belly Wrap (L/XL, Black): Breathable, Postnatal Belly Band - during the day for more support and I wear this one to sleep in. It is fine for that! I also have this one [[ASIN:B016F0FH5Q Trendyline Women Postpartum Girdle Corset Recovery Belly Band Wrap Belt, Medium,Beige Nude Medium]]...I used this one after my last baby and it is very supportive but it is super short from top to bottom. It won't cover the whole abdominal area. I used it for a little while after my most recent was born, but the velcro wore out quickly.

best ever compression binder post abdominal liposuction
The compression binder is adjustable. With the 3 straps, it is easy to fit it to your body shape. Firm compression in one area, no problem. Looser in another area, again no problem. The cotton fabric is very smooth, does not make you hot. I have tried the "waist bands" in the past and they made me sweat. Not this one. It stays where you put it. There are "stays" in the back of the binder, to help with support and to prevent slippage. The straps have velcro at the last 3 inches or so that will adhere to the fabric for fit. Machine wash: I washed it in a mesh/lingerie bag. Dryer or not: I did put it in the dryer for a short time, then line dry. I did buy 2 of these binders. I had to wear a binder for 6 wks 24x7. I switched them out every day. Downside: there is a really weird pocket in the center back. If you wear it according to directions, the pocket will be inside and low back. It makes no sense to me as to why it might be there. Be aware that the binder will add a small amount of extra to your mid-section. It is not really thin like the neoprene waist belts are. It is a couple layers of thick cotton, so it will add just a little to your mid-sction. but when I took it off, it was amazing how much more slender I felt. I am 69, 5'6. I got this for a double post-mastectomy, fat transfer/liposuction.

The Bellefit seemed like it would fix that problem since it claps in ...
So with my last pregnancy I tried a Belly Bandit and it was ok, but it didn't stay in place and moved up throughout the day. The Bellefit seemed like it would fix that problem since it claps in the crotch but is so expensive I was hesitant. I ended up getting a Bellefit off ebay for around $40. I had both at the beginning of this postpartum phase but didn't really wear them consistently. Fast forward- I started physical therapy and they want me to wear one 23 hrs a day- so I tried both and neither were really working. The Bellefit's seams poked me endlessly and even when I cut the boning out, it still was very uncomfortable. I could handle the squeezing of the girdle but the seams and the way it was cut dug into my skin and left awful red marks and made me so cranky. The Belly Bandit again kept moving and I quickly lost so many inches on my belly that the medium no longer really squeezed. So I started researching and eventually bought about 12 options on Amazon that had free returns and found 2 that I really like: 1. This is my favorite because it really holds the tummy together. The two flaps in front help me get it very snug and the extra parts help pull in extra. I wear this one all day. It has a little boning but it doesn't bother me at all and just helps my posture. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016F0FH5Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 2. This one I wear to bed- It is very soft and well made with nice velcro. I again like the 3 strips to pull in front because I can pull different sections more/less tight (waist, hips etc). I took the "boning" out of the back and wear this one to bed or at the end of the day when I am tired and want something more comfy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075XK7KPW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Caveat on both- they are not invisible under clothes. I prefer how I look with them on, but they are not bodyshapers (nor meant to be) so you can definitely see it through tight clothes. In case it helps anyone- I bought a medium in both and I am 5"3' 150lbs right now. Hourglass shape with lots of tummy pooch- hips 42' bust 41' waist 32' (after wearing for several weeks- didn't measure before I started just measured recently for a bridesmaids dress) underbust 34'

Should be standard issue from maternity floor!
Amazing support!! Bonus: super fast re-shaping! I dismissed a belly wrap after my first baby as shapewear, but I looked into it for my second with concerns about possible diastasis recti and core weakness. Oh my! This wrap is so comfortable to wear: it reminds me to sit up straighter and helps me to do so. I feel so much more stable when I have it on. I could sleep with it (and have napped), but I've only been wearing it during the day. The fabric is soft, so it is just as comfortable under clothing as it is over it. When I was measuring at 35 inches about five days post-partum, I ordered a medium even though that is outside the range: it fit great (would have even if I was bigger) and has room to keep going smaller. (Note: this is only the case for this model, the one WITHOUT the extra elastic; the one with the extra elastic didn't fit.) I do have a long torso, but I love that it can go from my bra-line to the top of my hips: no bulging at either end. The other, more expensive wraps are smaller, and I don't think it would fit as well. Bonus: two weeks post-partum, and I can't believe how close to "before baby" my stomach already is. (Some of that is luck of genetics, but this was definitely faster than with my first where I didn't wear anything.) I haven't had it long enough to speak to durability, but it looks promising.

Flimsy product, don't bother
Very flimsy and the velcro sizing is off. Waste of money.

Size Up- way up
I sized up after reading the reviews but it still didn't fit me. I was trying to use it during my hysterectomy recovery but by the time my swelling had gone down enough, I didn't need it anymore. It was also tricky to figure out which way around it went, although admittedly I wasn't on my A-game immediately after surgery. I was never able to use it so if you do buy one, size way, way up.

Size too small
Giving it 3 stars as its too small and there's no option to choose for a bigger size but still bought it hoping it will fits me but unfortunately not. However, the material is good and I like it.

Comfort and support
I began to use this product on the 8th day of post tummy tuck/ large hernia repair, panniculectomy and large rectus diastasis separation repair. It was such a relief to put this product on following the hospital provided abdominal binder. This product provided immediate relief to my skin from its soft composition. It also holds properly, with the tri closure, perfectly adjustable velcro straps. The length of this garment is superb, covering my midsection securely. I feel supported and protected without discomfort. The hospital provided garment was, stiff, scratchy and unforgiving during the first 7days. I tolerated it because I was unfamiliar with anything else. After reading the reviews for this product, I decided to give it a try and absolutely have zero regrets. As a matter of fact I would definitely purchase this item again and again. I would also recommend this item to anyone else going through the same surgery I have had. Don't hesitate to purchase this binder. Consult with your Dr, if you would like as well. This is much more affordable than others I have looked at and I am very happy.
