I gave one to rack if my work colleagues, a perfect jokey gift for a stressed team!However, the back of the sliders are prone to coming off rendering the life span and usability of the badge quite short.

Great bit of fun for such a low price.

Although its great if you’re too aggressive the lightning bolt will come out, but otherwise would really recommend!

These are a fun item that get our friends talking. Very good for "meta-communication". My partner is a teacher (primary school) and the kids are fascinated by it on a daily basis.

Cheap but made everyone laugh In The office.

I bought these for my 7 year old daughter who has ASD as a way to help communicate how she is feeling socially. The concept is really good and anything that helps children express their needs more easily is always worth trying.The pack comes with two pins and some spare parts, including both rubber pin backs and metal ones, which is useful in case any get lost.The badge itself works by sliding the indicator to show your current “social battery” level. However, the sliding piece can come off sometimes, which is a bit frustrating. I also noticed that if the backing is pushed in very firmly, it can become quite difficult for small hands to move the slider.My daughter does still wear them about once a week, although not daily. One thing to keep in mind is that they rely on other people actually noticing and understanding the badge, which of course is not the product’s fault but does affect how useful it is in practice.What I liked• Good idea for expressing social energy levels• Comes with spare pin backs• Simple design that children can understandThings to consider• The slider can come off occasionally• Can be a bit stiff for small hands• Effectiveness depends on others noticing the badgeOverall it is a good concept and worth trying, although I am not sure I would personally buy them again.Hopefully this helps anyone considering them.
