I was so excited to meet him, to take him out of his strangely made binding (the directions are on the cone. And that's all you get.) I read them twice, found some batteries, and got ready to settle down to loosen up and lose those loose split ends. I had a ton- long red hair, constant ironing and neglect... but no.more!! The age of the Split Ender Had Come........turn on that thing sounded like angry bats were trapped in a tube, literally. It is so pound my neighbors knocked on the walls. But I persevered- I had perfectly combed strands of really chewed on hair I was read to feed through. And I did. And nothing. Tried thicker bits. Nothing there either. Tried using the lender in all speeds and settings.... all it did was chew on my hair MORE and tear out parts of healthy hair. It's nothing like it's promised. Stick to nail scissors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product, but..... *by S***N on January 10, 2014* The concept of this product is great. It does what it says by cutting the ends off your hair. Easy to use and kind of fool proof. But, it does have a design flaw. It is rather messy as there is no kind of suction to keep the hair from falling out of the underside and getting everywhere. As I used this I was itchy all over from the little bits of hair falling out.
