After 9-10 hours of wear, it does sometimes annoy me a little. The cups fit wonderfully and the band is firm and stays put well. I buy a 34D in Maidenform bras because they don't make a 32DD in most styles. Depending on the coverage of the cup, they either fit just right on the last hook or are too small in the cup.This one is in the "fits just right" category. The shape is very natural and soft. The bra holds this shape well and looks good under sweaters and t-shirts. The part of the strap under the arm does come up a bit high, as does the cup, but you couldn't get a soft-cup bra to give this kind of nice shaping without the extra material. The plastic rods in the underarm part of the band do occasionally get irritating, but they're more comfortable than most under wire bras. The bra is also pretty - not super duper sexy, but feminine and pretty, which is nice.I've read other reviews where women had much more discomfort from the plastic rods in the band. I can see this being a problem if the bra fits you in a way that causes skin to "roll" above or underneath the band. This skin would basically sit on top of the rod or under it, and bending would probably exacerbate the discomfort. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars It's OK...and fixable. *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2015* As other reviewers wrote, there is a wire actually it is a plastic something in the underarm area of the bra. I also found it dug into me and felt awful. I took out my scissors and cut that plastic part out. It feels so much better now. I have no problems with the straps, just that plastic thingie, and I took care of that. I am now happy with the bra. Wish they would have a bra with no non-sense in it. I like Maidenform, and I think this bra was a fluke.Well, I just bought 3 more. Of all the bras I have tried, these are the most comfortable. I again cut out the plastic things. I exclusively wear Maidenform Comfort Devotion Extra Coverage already so finding it in wire free was a perfect match. I feel even more supported than in the regular Comfort Devotion and my back feels straightened out more on top of that. I am measured as a 38D and wear it in the typical CD and the same in this. There is definitely no uni-boob issue. As some of the other ladies have said, at first there can be a little prodding from the side thick strips of wire toward the back, but it goes away with a little but of wear. I will be buying one in every color.
