I ordered this cover without any expectation that it would look as great in person as it does in the photos. Boy was I surprised when it arrived. This case is made very well. It's not paper thin and the padding extends through the spine. This item has a very stylish and professional profile. I needed a cover that provided a bit of style and durability to a device that I use everyday. Many of the cases I've seen are somewhat juvenile or looked just too rubberized for my taste. That's okay if its what you're looking for. But I need something that will allow my mini to fit in my purse along with all of the other items I carry around as a working mom. And many of the other cases which provide a more stylish look are just too expensive.The stitching is perfect all the way around. Not a stitch out of place, no sharp edges, no frayed edges, loose stitches, and the cut of the material is perfect. All of the switches, camera lens and ports are accessible without material impediments. However, I have to note that sometimes I use an aftermarket charger and there is some wiggling required to get a tight fit with the cover; but this isn't a deal breaker for me, I just have to be a little more attentive. I need covers for my gadgets to meet form and function requirements (they have to look like they belong to someone older than twelve, durable, and can't be a pain to use) and this one aced all areas. The case is durable and stylish in an understated way that retains the look of a more expensive item. The buttons are not a big deal either since you can control most of the associated functions via soft controls in the OS. Still, from time-to-time, I do need access to the headphone jack.
