HD Blu Ray Player, Blue Ray/DVD/CD Player for TV, Play Region A/1 Blu-ray Disc and DVD Discs, Blu-ray DVD Player with HDMI/AV/Coaxial Output, USB Input, Built-in PAL NTSC (Zone 1 Blu-ray)

Bought this off brand Blueray in September 2025. Played over twenty DVDs/Bluerays movies with it. No disappointments here. Over the years, I've had several different brands. And this is, by far one of the best. What is so cool, is you can watch a movie stop It, remove it, put a different movie in and then go back to the original movie you were watching earlier and if you want too, it can start off exactly where you left off earlier. "Memory" I buy my DVDs / Blueray online or at a store. It never had a problem playing these unless there's something on the the move, smudge/scratches etc. Which is normal. Mine came with the necessary cables to hook up with. But you can order separately if you have a different type of equipment. Once you're used to the remote control and know where the buttons are, It's very easy. No issues with the shipment or packaging and no damage. The picture/sound is great. But also, it depends on the type of movie you buy too. Hi definition/ blu-ray or an older movie. Each movie has their perks or downfalls. Not the Blueray/ DVD player fault. Satisfied customer, will buy again.

Very pleased! The setup is easy. It plays my DVDs from all regions. And there is a surprise: other than regular Blu-ray Discs, it also plays my 4K resolution Blu-ray discs (not to be confused with 4K UltraHD) which my old BD player can’t play.

My wife wanted a cheaper Blu-Ray and DVD player for our living room and our older collection of DVDs. This no-frills (but capable) unit has got the job done thus far. We’ve had it about a year. Simple unit and simple remote, but that was what we were going for. Great value and it is holding up.

What attracted me this player is that it will play media from a 2TB hard drive and most of the formats that I have on hard drives and flash drives. I wanted something to back up my Sony 6700 and Patriot media player. The USB on this player will play MP4, MKV, FLV, MP3 (audio) and some AVI. If you get a format issue and just get the audio, hit the stop button once or twice. If it stays on the blu ray disc screen, push the media control button and your list of files will pop up. You have to scroll back up to the top of files to get to another folder. There is no shuffle option so if you have a long list of MP3 files, use the Go To button. However, you have to use the move left button the right place before pushing the numbers buttons. Unless you can remember all the numbers that correlate to your song titles, just hit next button until you get a song you want to hear. I have not had any problems playing any DVD and Blu-ray disc, but it has been a few years since I bought a new Blu-ray movie. This player is mostly positive. The cons are that it does not shuffle music, hard to exit a folder to another folder, not great with AVI, use some buttons a lot to where you may need to find a compatible remote one of these years, and you may have to point the remote directly at the right place or it will be non-responsive. I guess if the tariffs are not going to hit the unit before the next Prime Day, I may buy another one at the right price. However, I have hooked up my PC to my big screen, so I may have to get used to using a PC with VLC to play my media in the future since that will play all the formats without any problems and it will play music randomly and through my Bluetooth speakers.

This Jovell player does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it does it well for a modest price. Contrary to some reviews, it does have an HDMI connection, and a coaxial port to connect to an audio device. (It also has the standard RCA ports for connecting to older TVs, but no optical port.) The device is very simple to connect and set up. In my opinion, its biggest shortcoming is the remote controller. Not only are the buttons very small and difficult to see in low lighting, they are also laid out in a very counterintuitive manner. For example, the stop button is adjacent to the pause/play button, so that it is far too easy to stop playing the disc when you meant to pause (or resume play). For the price, I suppose I can live with the lousy remote, but on the other hand, how difficult is it to design a sensible remote?

Bought this for my grandma due to her purchasing a different region of a blu ray trilogy. It works well! It was easy to set up and we have had no issues with it so far. My grandmother is in her 80s so it's easy to use for her!
