These do a good job of muffling noise and keeping the ears protected. We bought these for my kids to go watch monster trucks. I am embarrassed to admit these actually annoyed me at first because I felt like they were too small and tight on my 4 year old, but after messing with them a bit, I realized they adjusted at the metal part. After I realized that, I was so happy with them. They fit both my 2 and 4 (almost 5 year old) great and will still adjust more as they grow. The only thing I don't like on these is the ugly label code thing printed across them. I would have been fine with the label, but what we had on ours was not what was shown on here.
