These mini lock quick release are the most reliable and nice to use of all the different mini lock quick releases available. The cheaper ones are alright, but not as rock solid as the kondor blue quick locks. I've never had a doubt they could hold my 5-inch monitor/recorders, microphones mounted on cameras/poles, audio recorders clamped with a magic arm. With all the versatile ways to mount/connect, these can handle anything you throw at them! Highly recommended!!

Build quality is good, makes it easy to switch out components, I wish it came with a extra plate for the price.

While not mentioned on Kondor Blue’s website, (unless I missed it), the mini lock works fine to attach a iPhone video cage rig to a tripod. At least in my case it is more than strong enough to hold the cage with all the usual parts, iPhone, usb-c hub, power brick, and ssd.
