This one does the trick. I do have it on the higher sound (the low was too low to wake me), but it definitely wakes me up. The one thing I still struggle with (with any alarm clock) is turning it off and going back to bed and then not remembering that I shut it off later. So, even though it does wake me up, I still have to put it out of reach so that by the time I'm able to turn it off, I'm truly fully awake and not still in a half-sleep state. I also like that in addition to the regular snooze button, there is a second back up alarm setting. I am extremely pleased with this alarm clock. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good little clock *by M***W on Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2018* I bought this as a travel alarm, but after my power went out, I may use it regularly. I bought this because it looked light weight and I needed a battery operated clock to take on a trip. After I received it, I put batteries in it, set the time and alarm just to see how it was done (I didn't use the instruction manual, it was pretty easy to figure out). I put it on my night stand with the alarm set to ensure it would wake me. The alarm was loud enough to wake me, which was probably a good thing as we lost power sometime during the night and my AC powered clock was blinking. Lucky me. I'd recommend this clock. It was bright, but not annoyingly bright and there are two loudness settings for the alarm which is nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BUY ONE, YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2018* I love this little travel alarm, especially the fact I can set the alarm for two different times. I am going to buy one or two more for the house. The alarm is loud enough for me on low, I can hear it over the AC so I will never miss my flight.
