Unless you can afford a custom built case - something like a Calton - then Hiscox cases are the standard by which other guitar cases should be judged. Not long ago I purchased a hard case for one of my guitars which cost £20 less than this Hiscox one and it is inferior in every respect even though it was designed and made specifically for the model of guitar I owned. If you can stretch a bit further than the price of the standard Hiscox cases like this one then their Pro-II cases are even better. A worthwhile investment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good condition, great build and brilliant quality *by J***N on 7 December 2012* The case arrived very fast and in excellent condition, besides the little few centimeters in between the guitar and the side of the case, it fits quite perfectly and there's padding for the neck and the head and the base of the guitar. The compartment is fairly adequate for all 3 of my capos, 2 packs of strings, a clip on korg tuner, a slide, 2 batteries and some documentation and receipts, and the space between the body and the side of the case is where i put my strap. The padding is alright, not exactly the most royal treatment but it certainly gives good padding underneath the fuzzy layer. Mine came in red but i'm sure they come in both green and red. It has 5 latches, a sturdy handle that doesn't hurt your hand when you carry it (for too long) and can be sat on? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautifully designed case of the highest quality. *by M***W on 14 January 2025* I was overwhelmed by the sheer quality of this case when I took it out of the rather plain looking and ordinary cardboard box. It is stunning. I had been anxious that my Yamaha dreadnought guitar might not fit in the case as it is 141.2 cm wide and the width limit for the case is 141.3 cm, so not much room for error. Fortunately, it fits in perfectly or snugly, whichever way you look at it and it is cosseted in a very attractive light grey velour lining. The outer hard shell is jet black textured plastic, though does not feel plasticky and looks classy with its aluminium rim. The hard shell does not flex at all and seems very strong and the handle is also strong and comfortable to hold. All the fittings and fastenings are heavy duty and have been attached with expert precision. The case weighs about 4kg and the guitar about 2kg, so not too heavy to lug around. The shape of the case has been designed with a lot of curved edges to give maximum comfort when carrying against your body and the whole thing just looks too fabulous for words.
