Brad Bird directs this Disney sci-fi action feature starring George Clooney and Britt Robertson. After teenager Casey Newton (Robertson) comes across a pin that transports her to an alternate world when she touches it she seeks out former prodigy and inventor Frank Walker (Clooney), hoping he can shed some light on her discovery. Now considered a fugitive, Casey finds herself on the run and, along with Frank, journeys to the other dimension known as Tomorrowland where she realises she may be the key to saving the world... The film also stars Hugh Laurie, Kathryn Hahn, Judy Greer and Tim McGraw. Review: Best Experience Ever! - 'Tomorrowland' is a Sci-fi Adventure where a teenage girl called 'Casey' (played by Britt Robertson known for films such as 'The Longest Ride') finds a mysterious pin with her belongs and once the pin is touched it transports her to Tomorrowland. However, The pin only works temporary meaning she would have to travel there in order to stay longer. However, There are some bad guys who are after her and another robot girl she makes friends with... But I won't say anymore about the storyline because the less you know about the plot, then the more enjoyable the film is. But what I will say is what a BRILLIANT FILM this is! The plot was gripping with many twists and it keeps you hooked until the very end. The special effects are the best I have ever seen and are jaw dropping. The cast do fantastic with their performance epically George Clooney (from films such as 'Gravity' etc.) who plays 'Frank' aswell as Britt Robertson who played the role of the teenage girl really well. The soundtrack also sounded brilliant and the enemies were very well delivered. The film is 130 minutes long which I was concerned about before watching, as most films with run times over 2 hours tend to bore me but due to the pacing and interesting plot of this film then I was hooked and didn't get bored in the slightest. This film could have even been made longer. There are a few downsides as I would have loved to have seen more of Tomorrowland and also I didn't like the ending of the film as it was a bit confusing and felt a little silly, but I am not going to say why because I will spoil it. Lastly, I would like to mention this is one of the best Blu-rays I have ever bought as the picture quality was superb and there wasn't any grain visible and the colours and scenery looked very realistic. I even thought I was watching 4K quality at first. Also the sound is awesome and makes you feel you are actually in the film. The sound effects which came out of my Soundbar were some of the best I have heard and gave me one of the best home cinema experiences ever! Overall, This is a film for everyone! and its one of the best Sci-fi films I have ever seen! Just buy this film (and if you can try and get it on Blu-ray) and enjoy an experience of a life time! Review: If you can build it.... - Disney scored big at the box office with Pirates of the Caribbean, a movie based on a theme park ride. So why not try similiar with another one? [Who mentioned the Haunted Mansion?] Back in the thirties, during the dawn of science fiction as a genre, people imagined the future would be an incredible place, full of amazing inventions. Like flying cars and food pills and personal jet packs. There were world's fairs, where there were exhibits of this kind of thing. People dared to dream. But sometimes, things don't measure up to expectations. Tomorrowland starts a few decades ago, when boy genius Frank Walker is offered a chance to enter a place where his talents can be fulfilled. But in the present, run down and depressing with people getting laid off and the space programme not going anywhere present day, teenage girl Casey [Britt Robertson] is another science dreamer, and one who can't find an outlet for her talents. Particularly in troubled times. But a strange item and a mysterious girl called Athena lead her to the grown up reclusive and bad tempered Frank [George Clooney] and a chance to set the world of tomorrow back on course... Tomorrowland tries hard to be a hymn to the dreamers. The doers. The ones with imagination who defied the laughter to make things happen. The kind of people the world needs very much. It's all about having those dreams, as Casey does, and they can turn out for grown ups in the face of the realities of adulthood. And it also tries hard to be a fun adventure. With adversaries who aren't too evil but who create some jeopardy and cause chase sequences nonetheless. When it manages to really fire the spirit, then it works. But having to attach all this to a linear plotline means there are moments when it's heavy on the exposition, and not grabbing quite as much. Britt Robertson is a very engaging lead and carries the film well. George Clooney acts effortlessly, but Frank's attitude means he's a character it can take a while to warm to. Ultimately, the main thrust of the plot and the final quarter, where all things come to a head, isn't the most memorable. So whilst this is a reasonably entertaining ride for a lot of the time, it's not one that will live in the mind for too long after seeing it. It does have it's moments though, the ones that do fire your spirit in the way they should, so for those it's worth a watch. And a gold star to anyone who picks up on the name of the memorabilia shop owner.. The disc has the following language and subtitle options: Languages: English, Castilian Spanish. Subtitles: English, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, Portugese, Castilian Spanish, Swedish. The disc begins with several trailers, which can be skipped via the next button on the dvd remote. All these can be seen in the sneak peeks section, via the main menu. Along with a couple of adverts. But there are no extras at all.

Can we fix it? Yes we can!
This ambitious, stylish and visually stunning SF fantasy family movie is marvellously entertaining with impressive CGI effects, refreshing optimistic energy and delightful humour with its Fringe-lite scenario. Despite its convoluted plot, uneven narrative and occasional preachy moments there is no doubting its charm whose cinematography at times has a feel of Terry Gilliam with its breath-taking Jetson-esque utopian future-retro cityscape complete with Art Deco skyscrapers, monorails and floating swimming pools. There are some tremendous set pieces in particularly the fight scene in the SF memorabilia shop Blast from the Past and the robotic siege of an inventor’s house (reminiscent of Zulu and Attack on Precinct 13). The three leads give good value - George Clooney as a disillusioned reclusive former boy-genius inventor, Britt Robertson as a feisty optimistic teenage scientist and a wonderful performance by Raffey Cassidy as Athena, a young girl from another dimension on a mission, while Hugh Laurie is suitably villainous as the head honcho of the elusive Tomorrowland. Flawed, granted, but a fabulous fun-filled film which I will be re-watching.

Great start to this movie
Great start to this movie. perfectly captures that sense of adventure and sheer exuberant can-do attitude that America seems to have lost. The visuals are stunning, everything is perfectly pitched and the story works well for the first two thirds of the movie. Very hard to second-guess this movie because their are some clever and original plot twists. Unfortunately it all falls apart in the last third of the movie. Some dreadful hammy acting from Hugh Laurie, who is under the impression the director asked him to play a vaudeville villain. Story gets lost, ending is confused and lacks punch. Watch it once, maybe. Not a keeper.

A zippy and exciting blockbuster.
Tomorrowland contains a barrage of ideas - something often lacking in blockbuster films, and an ace in the hole that makes it consistently interesting. Britt Robertson plays a precocious teen whose creativity has taken a wrong-turn into industrial vandalism. However, after discovering a special 'pin' button, she finds she can glimpse a fantastical other dimension - Tomorrowland - and seeks out the help of George Clooney's failed inventor character to get her there. Much of the fun of the film is in the discovery, so I won't give much away. Robertson and Clooney make a very fun double-act, and their first meeting - as well as their first encounter with the 'bad guys' is an endlessly inventive set-piece of mischief and creative fun. The supporting cast are enigmatic and convincing, and the twists in the tale are gentle but still help to propel the excitement. The visuals, needless to say, are gorgeous and will cause more than a few 'wow' moments. It's astounding that out of all the films released in 3D Blu-Rays last year, this one was not among them - as its world of wonder is perfect for such an immersive technology. Hugh Laurie is good at his villain duties, and the film is very enjoyable. It feels a little bit like something is missing, leaving it just shy of a classic (maybe too much of a fatalistic sense that we could cause our own destruction creeps in at some stages?) but it's a fun and family friendly exciting movie.

I’m excited because this came so fast and it’s exactly as described. Thank you ! I recommend ! PS : it’s important to review the product, not the movie. The seller doesn’t create the movie, please keep that in mind before giving a bad review.

One Of The Best Sci-Fi Movies In Recent Times
I felt that this movie is very relevant in our time, you access any news source and you will be bombarded with negative news of all sorts, I felt that this movie touches this subject and how people give into this negativity and loose their optimism and choose to become numb to the sufferings of other human beings. Overall I found the movie to be a complete entertainer with cool visual effects, humour, action and a great cast.
