I saw an article on how to turn this throw into a top quilt with a foot box and all but I wanted to test it out just as it is. I'm 5' 10" so the 6ft size works well for me. I went hiking and hammock camping with my son and the low was 37* that night. I purposely used only this as a top quilt to test it but had a sleeping bag nearby just in case. I was VERY happy with the results! This throw kept me warm all night by itself! I didn't even put my socks or my cap on until around 3AM! This thing is super light weight and it can get tiny!
