Life is Strange: Before the Storm Limited Edition (PS4)

A brilliant prequel to the original Life is Strange. There are three episodes, each of which is about two hours long, plus a bonus final episode that's an extra hour. You also get mixtape mode, which enables you to reimagine key scenes, DLC costumes if you care for that sort of thing, a little art book that matches the first one, and a CD soundtrack which matches the first one. Pretty pricey but it's a limited edition and I love this series. I think that the game is not quite as moving or high-stakes as the first, but it remains consistent and gripping even without the timetravel mechanic. Perfect for die-hard fans of this series, like me.

This disc includes the first game 'life is strange' and the second game 'life is strange before the storm'. I brought the first life is strange not realising it was all on one disc with the before the storm sequel. Great game and collection for the price.

This is a great game, it includes Life Is Strange : Before The Storm (all episodes already installed), Outfit pack, Original soundtrack CD, Art Book, Mixtape Mode, Bonus episode (which needs Wi-Fi to download) and Life Is Strange episode 1 (All others episodes are on there but need to be downloaded using Wi-Fi) only problem for me is I don't have Wi-Fi so I am unable to play the rest of the games which is really upsetting so if you buy this game make sure you have Wi-Fi.

So... where’s the soundtrack and the art book? 😅

This game had the potential to be a strong story with strong characters just like the previous game. Having played the first game before this one it felt very different to play Before The Storm. The gameplay isn't as fun in my opinion. The cutscenes were often long, slow and boring. Some of the playthrough seemed to drag on to kill time and the main story wasn't all that interesting to me. I only found myself liking a few characters, the others I just didn't care about. I also found some of the decisons in this game didn't really matter. I explore everywhere I can in a game such as this and it is good they kept that mechanic. I enjoyed exploring the world of Arcadia Bay again and I enjoy Chloe's character even if her new voice actor is a bit slow and sluggish sounding at times. Exploring Chloe's character in this prequel was enjoyable and the bonus outfits are worth using. I loved the music and I am glad I was able to get my hands on the official soundtrack. I am also pleased with my artbook. Overall it's a nice addition to my Life Is Strange collection and for what you get I would say it's worth the money. It definitely doesn't feel like it comes anywhere close to the first game in terms of story, choices & consequences though.

I loved this game! And it came with a Sountrack CD and great packaging! Definatley recommend if your in to these types of game!

Absolutely all Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm is quality content in my opinion! As gripping as the first.

Big fan of ‘life is strange’ BUT...... I felt there was too much video. A really good game though. Graphics a lot better but you expect that. Worth playing but expect vid👍🏻
