Small Parts 316 Stainless Steel Machine Screw, Plain Finish, Flat Head, Phillips Drive, 1-1/2" Length, #8-32 Threads (Pack of 25)

I found it very difficult to find a small lot of screws like this (most were 100-500) and didn't want to scour home depot or similar stores for individual screws and pay $1-2 apiece for them. The screw is very high quality and the stainless steel used to make the screw is of the better variety that is suitable for marine use. Shopping on Amazon allowed me to verify this would work in and be appropriate for my application prior to purchase, which would have been difficult at a hardware store.

Worked as expected.

On my shower stall drain cover, only 1 screw was installed and it had been that way over 20 years. I was doing mini fixup and finally decided to have both screws. And my local Lowe's and Home Depot don't carry this exact screw.Find these 25-pack at Amazon and it is identical in size and appearance to the original screw. I feel a lot better with no missing screw and the drain cover is secured. On the other hand, I have 24 nice and little screws that never be put to use ever.

We had a very difficult time fixing some sailboat hardware in Panama. I ordered these machine screws largely for the length and had a buddy on his way down fly them down (yes sometimes even the little stuff works out that way). They have not rusted and have held up well in a harsh marine environment.

Great product and dimensions are all a match. Worked great for my needs and much cheaper than the hardware store. Just make sure you select the correct dimensions and package quantity as there are several listed for each size.

I purchased these screws for a project where corrosion could potentially be a problem. I prefer to use 316 stainless when I can get it...although it is not always readily available in the sizes I need, when I need it.I received full measure (actually I received 26 screws in a package stated as having 25..). The finish was fine...not "excellent", but plenty good enough. All of the screws appeared to be cut perfectly and all mated up with threaded fasteners just like they should. In general, I found no issues with these screws even though they are substantially less expensive than those available locally at the hardware store.Four stars for a nice serviceable product. If the finish on the head of the screw was a little better (smoother..) it would look a little better when visible and would then rate five stars instead of four.
