My toes have since started curling AGAIN. My physical therapist helped me find these February 2026. I feel like if I had these after the first surgery I wouldn't have had to get the second surgery to correct the hammer toe. If you pull the elastic through to the (left) first toe and loosen it up some and then do the same for the middle so that its a comfortable fit and then tighten the loose strap comfortably under and I applied a sock over it to hold it in place. For the first few uses I laid with my foot elevated and left it on for about 10-15 minutes. I did this various times throughout the first few days each time I was able to tolerate more time. After about the third day I was able to apply a shoe and wear while walking around. Within the week my hammer toes have space, have straightened out, I am able to tolerate standing, walking, etc, for longer periods, my hip is not hurting as bad, and my spirits and hopes have been lifted that I may one day get back to a semi normal walking manner and life ALL thanks to this product. Review: Only for people with still flexibe toes. - not for rigid toes!! The elastic just slips off. the Elastic pulls from the end, this means that only the last toe get the benefit. The first toe doesn't tighten at all. This good for folks with still flexible toes. Only works on the three middle toes as pictured. I did not not see any instructions in the packaging. They seem to be doing what they are intended to do. However, getting the toes into the loops and tightening and loosening is not easy. I started using an awl for that procedure. Hope that other customers can bend their legs, ankles and feet enough to get them on and adjust them because it is a yogaesque struggle for me!
