So won't harm fish, coral, sponges, anemones, worms etc or the bacteria in your live rock and filter. After a small water change and quick syphon of the really bad parts of my sand I used this as directed on the bottle (remember to turn protein skimmer off for 4 hours). I did this late at night so went to bed. The following morning I woke up to a pristine tank.. it looked brand new inside! Water looked clearer, fish looked brighter and corals etc looked healthier.
