Great mtb shoe!
My five ten freerider pro's were getting old so I was looking for a replacement. I couldn't find freeride pros for less than $140 so I started looking elsewhere. Came upon this Giro Latch that was on sale for $40. So far I am loving it! Great shoe! Runs a little small but not too bad. Sole is nice and stiff and sticky with my Spank Spoon pedals. Upper feels like it has a little padding, which I really like, and some breathability too. Will know more when I try them on a true test ride on the trails, more than just riding around my neighborhood. But so far I am loving these and you can't beat that discounted price! And I love the look of the shoe. UPDATE- finally rode a proper trail with these shoes and they were awesome. Was even able to wear my slightly thicker, wool socks under them. My feet were not cold at all, were well protected and the sole felt nice and stiff and thick. No difference at all from the Five Ten Freerider Pros that I have, that cost $100 more.

Great shoe for non locking bike pedals
Perfect for use on a "non-locking" pedal - it's slip resistant. The fit is true to size making it comfortable for the 16-20 mile bike rides I make daily. The sale price I paid was an excellent value for the money.

great shoe for mtb
Great shoe, comfortable and sticky, and water resistant outside. The heel has no cushion, so probably not great for walking around... But works great for mountain biking Fit/feel is like a skateboard shoe I think.

Sticky stiff and comfortable
Really grippy! I feel so much more confident standing up on my pedals now. Comfortable too.

Great for Mountain biking
Hubs mountain bikes and wanted to upgrade from his old shoes. He looks the grips on these, legit says he never slips. They run true to size and are comfortable. He’ll likely get another pair

Simply not grippy enough
The fit, finish, and features of these shoes are all very good. Unfortunately, they are not very grippy. I am constantly having to readjust my feet after rough sections of trail. I’ve also had my feet slip forward on the pedals when going uphill. Spend your money on something grippier.

Avoid unless you hate your feet
So disappointed with these shoes. The shoe itself is nothing special. It's basically just a crappy skateboard shoe. The shoes are very narrow and tight around the toe box and the balls of the feet. The soles grip pedals fine, but there is insufficient support where the balls of the feet contact the pedal, so if you're riding for 10 miles or more you will feel it. The insole inside is paper thin. The outer sole is so lacking that you can easily bend the shoe in half at the balls of the feet. So how can it support your feet? Giro clearly just slapped "MTB flat pedal shoes" on random shoes with zero R & D or testing. The laces are barely long enough to tie off. The "lace retention" system is literally just an elastic strap halfway up the tongue of the shoe. It's worthless. I have Salomon shoes that work WAY better for bikepacking trips or long distance gravel riding. I order tons of clothes and shoes online and these are the only shoes that have failed to meet expectations. It is also my first experience with Giro products and I am NOT impressed. All the marketing superlatives and lies aren't sufficient to cover up that Giro just mass churns out subpar gear. Buyer beware.

Stiff sole for lots of power, but not breathable
These filled the bill and met all of their reviews. Definitely the most powerful shoe for flat pedals with a very stiff sole. Downside for me though was that they do not breathe. Very sweaty feet.

Buenos
Es una excelente opción de calzado para enduro, la suela es super pegajosa. Solo por debajo de 5ten.

Excellent flat pedal shoe
Seems robust, water penetrates slower than other MTB shoes I've had, fits my waterproof socks. Laces are short, so won't catch on chain rings. Relatively light and firm midsole gives good power transfer.

Super comfortable and light
I don't like buying shoes online as size/fit are always tricky. But the fit is perfect and they are very comfortable. I've worn them on several day long rides so far and they feel like slippers and are durable. They the right amount of sole rigidity and flex when walking. They are a bit warm for summer days but great for the rest of the year. Highly recommended
