A hardy, very jangly tambourine
I bought this as a replacement for my A-Star tambourine as I broke that a few weeks ago. I play with a band and after a two years of gigs the A-Star jingle bits fell off, so I thought that I'd look for another one and ordered a couple of different ones. I had read the reviews for this one and I agree, it does have a different tone. If you tend to hit your tambourine then I'd stick with the A-Star, if you jingle and shake the tambourine then this one might be your favourite. I used both my new A Star and this one at the last gig. They do sound quite different. This one is heavier to hold, and there is no way that I could manage a 42 song set with this, my hand and wrist would hurt. Also, others have commented on the handle being not very ergonomically designed and I agree, it looks like it should be comfortable, but the angle is slightly wrong. As a result it makes your wrist hurt. I love my A star tambourine more - even if it breaks in two years time.

COMFORTABLE TO HOLD
Good size. Average quality. Would have preferred cushion handle.

Not very ergonomic
Looks good but it’s really uncomfortable to hold. The curve of the handle is the wrong way round for me to get a good grip. Sound isn’t as full as I would like. Paid slightly more hoping for a better product but I’m left feeling a bit disappointed.

Product arrived on time and appears to be a solid good quality item
After reading reviews on the cheaper version I decided to spend a bit more and go for this. Product arrived on time and appears to be a solid good quality item. It has a sharp tone and can be heard over me playing the Djembe. Time will tell if it is robust enough.

Hace muy bien su función. Suena a pandereta y no a chapas. Cómoda de sujetar
