A frame buffer provides more continuous image capture. The electronic rolling shutter provides smooth image capture. The camera has a C-mount adapter ring that can be used to attach the camera to a C-mount port. The software allows users to control white balance, exposure, image preview and capture, and compression rates. The software supports 8-bit, 24-bit, and 32-bit image preview and capture, compressed and uncompressed video capture, gamma correction, and extended RGB gain.
