SilverStone SST-MS09S - M.2 SATA external SSD Enclosure, USB 3.1 Gen 2, silver

I decided to review this item as I have been using it for quite some time and I find the reviews for this product quite different from my opinion. Regarding the assembly, I don't believe you need any sophisticated instructions! There are four screws that you need to loosen in order for you to mount the add inside the enclosure. How hard do you think this can be? They also give you the screwdriver for it! Secondly, the only way to have the retractable button not working, is of you put it upside down, in which case you can easily realise that this is a problem. Thirdly, the other product proposed from other reviewer (and made me purchase it, and then I had to return) is not a retractable usb product, but you need to carry the cable with you. After probably 4 months of using this enclosure daily as my work back up device, I am more than happy with it. Nice quality, nice durability so far. And this is my opinion about this product. Actually if it ever breaks, I will buy a replacement, given no second thought.

First, the good.- This thing is so fast that it easily saturates the USB3.1 controller in my desktop, hitting 310mb/sec write.- Included screwdriver is good.Second, the bad.- I can't figure out how to get the screw post in for the smallest SSD size. There's part of the slider seemingly soldered(?) over the other side of the hole and nothing in the instructions.- It's a little light and rattly even with all the screws done up; there's tool marks inside indicating it was CNCed from a block of metal, but it doesn't quite *feel* premium.- There was a big sticker on the bottom which was very difficult to remove (gunk).
