Review: Gets the job done better than anything else - We own the full Esembly cloth diaper set up from outers, inners, liners, overnighters and the reusable wipes. They’re great diapers but when we first started using them I could NEVER get them clean with other soap. Desperate, I purchased the detergent which I was initially hesitant to because the price but once I did I was so glad because IT WORKS! And it actually lasts a long time, the refill bag lasts about 3.5 months so that’s a good value. We throw her clothes in with the diapers too and just wash it all at once in the first cycle and her clothes look great, it helps get any blowout and spit up stains out too which is nice! The only negative I have to say is the zipper at the top of the bag broke pretty quickly, the second time it was opened to refill the container, so we moved it to a bigger, fancier, jar that holds the entire refill bag. Overall it’s a really great detergent, gentle on her skin, no scent so no irritation, and gets the stains out of her diapers and clothes! Win win!

**Q: Why is “clean-rinsing” so important?**
A: Clean-rinsing simply means that nothing in the detergent is left behind on the fabric after the final rinse. This is critical when washing cloth diapers but ultimately benefits all laundry (ex: sweaty gym cloths, musty towels) by preventing build up.

**Q: Is Washing Powder safe for people with sensitive skin and is it friendly to the earth?**
A: Yes! Our all-natural formula is mineral based. It is free of fragrance, dye, SLS, SLES, phosphates, phthalates, parabens and all the other nasty junk we want to keep out of our water and off our skin.

**Q: Why powder? I’m used to liquid laundry detergent.**
A: Powder packs a stronger punch! Liquid detergent is made of mostly water so you have to use 3-4 x the volume to get the same cleaning performance as you get from just a couple TBS of powder. Less volume = less money AND less energy used in transport.

**Q: How do the Agitators work?**
A: Our weighted silicone Agitators balls work in both the washer AND dryer. In the washer they pound into the fabric forcing stains + soil to the surface. In the dryer they lift + separate to decrease dry time and leave your laundry softer + fluffier.

We have been cloth diapering for 5 years and only recently decided to try this for cleaning some cloth diapers. Wow do we regret not doing this sooner! Absolutely no build up following the directions and everything always comes out clean. Mind you we have soft water so if you hard water i have no idea if this is right for you. Super easy to use, excellent quality, has a subtle and pleasant scent as well as an effective cleaner! I recommend the first wash be in cold water to prevent staining but otherwise great!
