Starting in chronological order bad to great. Ending with summary. The photo are in reverse order (most recent first). The packaging was lacking. The product box was a little bent up due to being shipped in a bag-type envelope basically made out of paper bag material. No padding at all. This concludes the bad part. The product itself was surrounded by bubble wrap inside the box it comes in. I plugged it in, kept the other lights off with the exception of light coming from the stove and microwave clocks. There are also windows in the kitchen/breakfast area. The next morning there was a noticeable reduction in the annoying fruit flies, gnats, whatever they are. I tried to get a photo of bug debris in the bottom of the zapper. Much is destroyed in the actual zapping process. There is a satisfying snap sound when the deed is being done. If it gets a bigger bug like a house fly or moth and you’re standing close by it probably will startle you. This is not my first rodeo with this zapper. I bought one before and was very pleased with it. However we moved last year in the late fall and the original is packed somewhere in a box in my now hot garage. I looked a little for it then decided to just buy another one. I now have both white and black (somewhere :-/). If and when I find the original I’ll either pass one on to someone else or keep it for a less needed area. Right now my kitchen is a much happier place.

Bought this for my daughter. She was getting mosquito bites. I told her that I have one and it works. It’s been reported to me that it really really works outside & inside as well. Quiet operation. Great to have a brush to clean the wires. Don’t have a picture.

I can’t fathom how I put this in the garage last night when there were about four flies in the garage I put it mid-level. I turned it on. I don’t know if I missed any steps, but it seems to me like you take it out the box and you plug it in and you hang it up or you sit down somewhere and you press the power button and then that’s it. I did just that I woke up and went in the garage to check the progress and they were over 20 flies. I even took a fly that was injured and put it inside of the great that is supposed to zap them. It touched two bars which is supposed to complete the current and there was not a zap insight. Absolutely nothing. The flies didn’t even care for that light either it didn’t zap them at all. You might as well. Take these lights and decorate a room. Not one fly inside of this so-called bug zapper. I’m pissed off because I live next to a farm and really needed this thing to work 000 stars now I have to use my time and effort to go return it. They should be paying me.

Works well. Only small downside to this type of device (and probably not specific to this model) is that sometimes, the bug burns up completely, which smells like burning bug. But it doesn't last long. We installed this in our garage and it kills flies every day. If it lasts, it is well worth the cost.

It zaps bugs, but I feel like its not powerful enough... it will zap the bug, then it will sit there and cook and put off an ungodly smell. So definitely for outdoors... but not to be kept in the weather. Its not water proof... but its alright for the price.

We had a plant that was given to me that was an outdoor plant and I put it indoor to save it from the Arizona heat. Apparently it was infested with gnats. This thing kills 100+ gnats a day. And flies! Ease of use. We leave it on 24/7 and it does not get hot. My only complaint is that the gnats are so small they don’t always go onto the tray they kinda pop and fly off, landing on the table or counter it’s sitting on. For me it’s quick to suck them up with the vacuum or wipe the with a wet paper towel.

This is the best bug zapper I have ever purchased worth every dime. The amount of flies he gets rid of his awesome and the cleanup is easy as well I would buy it again

I wanted to like this bug zapper more than I did. It does work, but the results weren’t as impressive as I expected. It does not catch flies easy, I watched several bugs fly toward the light, only to fly right back out instead of getting zapped. The blue LED also seems much dimmer than other indoor bug zappers I’ve owned, so I don’t think it’s as effective at attracting insects. My biggest complaint is the cleaning process. You have to unscrew the entire unit just to remove the dead bugs, which feels like a lot more work than necessary. Other bug zappers I’ve used have a simple pull out tray that makes cleanup quick and mess free. This one gets the job done, but the weaker light and inconvenient maintenance keep it from being one I would purchase again. It’s easy to use with just the touch of a button. It is very light weight too so you can move it with ease not sure how it will hold up and it’s durability since it is so light weight.

Der Buzbug kam ordentlich verpackt bei mir an. An für sich macht er einen sehr ordentlichen Eindruck, ist leicht aber sehr stabil und wirkt insgesamt recht wertig. Man merkt der Trageschlaufe als auch dem Grünen Gehäuse aber an, dass es entgegen dem Innenleben einfach nur schmückendes Beiwerk ist und vom Plastik her, nicht ganz so wertig ist. Das schwarze Innenleben, also der Korpus, die LED Leisten, als auch das Hochspannungsgitter und Schutzgitter, wirken sehr sauber verbaut und Gund Solide! Schön ist, dass man das Schutzgitter ausknipsen kann um von zeit zu zeit das Hochspannungsgitter mit dem beiliegenden Pinsel zu reinigen. Lustig fand ich die Anleitung als auch den hässlichen silbernen Aufkleber der oben auf dem Gehäuse unschön platziert, eben erklärt, wie das Gitter zu entfernen ist, dass es ausgesteckt sein muss, und dass man mit einem isolierten Elektro Schraubenzieher de Kontakte einmal zum Entladen „Kurzschließen“ soll… . Naaaaaajjjjaaaaa….. 🤪 Eigentlich sollte sowas ja jedem einleuchten, dass man es nicht im Betrieb öffnen soll… …und wer zum entladen der Restspannung nicht den Po der besseren Hälfte verwenden will, der muss eben sich so ein VDE Schraubenzieher mal zulegen… 😜 Der Sicherheitsaufkleber verschandelt das Gerät m. M. ziemlich, weswegen ich diesen abgemacht habe, wobei relativ viel unschöner, babbiger Kleberest zurückbleibt. Anstatt jetzt aber sinnlos zu schrubben, was diesen nur verwischt, oder gar klebereste Entferner zu nutzen, der ggf. das Material angreifen könnte, nimmt man einfach nur ein Streifen bessere Panzertape und tupft wie wild auf den Kleberesten rum und reißt dieses schnell nach oben. Der Kleber haftet besser am Tape als am Plastik und so hat man recht schnell die störenden Kleberreste beseitigt. Wie gesagt an für sich ist so ein Aufkleber durchaus sinnvoll, aber doch nicht bitte so riesig und ganz oben, sondern wenn vielleicht auf der Unterseite… . Die Ausleer Schublade ist zwar ganz nett, aber wer die wirklich braucht, hat m. M. echt ein ganz anderes Problem… . Allen die sich das Teil für den Sommer zur Schnaken Abwehr holen möchten, kann ich nur abraten. Nööö, die lassen sich davon nicht beeindrucken! Schnaken und Stechmücken sind die F35 Version des Tierreichs. Vollgestopft mit modernster Sensorik wie CO2 Rezeptoren, Wärmebild Antennen, Ultraschall Härchen. Es sind schlaue „Jäger“ und die mitgelieferten UV Leisten des Geräts interessiert sie 0 die Bohne, da sie sich eben nicht für Sonnenlicht interessieren, sondern sogar eher davon zurückschrecken, da sie in Natur durch dieses zu sehr aufgeheizt bzw. austrocknen würden. Daher wird man im Sommer in der prallen Mittagssonne mitten auf einem Trockenen Feld, nicht gestochen. Sie lieben die Dämmerung, wenn die Sonne und damit die Gefahr schon weg ist. Entsprechend interessieren die sich einfach nicht für etwas, dass eben eine „Sonne Simuliert“ mit UV licht. Was hingegen sehr gut klappt sind die normalen Schwarzen als auch schillernd bunten Haushalts Mücken als auch diverse Motten Viecher. Diese nutzen zum einen zur Orientierung sehr wohl den Sonnenstand, bzw. sind diese So gepolt, dass sie eben gerne in enge Höhlensysteme (und nichts anderes sind unsere Wohnungen) auf Nahrungssuche rein fliegen. Z.b. wie in einem Tier Kadaver, wo es gilt hinterher wieder raus zu kommen. Für dieses Rauskommen bedienen sie sich eben gerne des Sonnenlichts, was eben auch UV Anteile beinhaltet, die eben von dem BuzBug ausgestrahlt werden. Daher fliegen die Mücken zuhause gerne zur Scheibe, wo sie wegen des Glases eben nicht raus kommen… . Entsprechend denke ich, dass der Einsatzweck eben nicht das Schlafgemach wegen der Stechmücken ist, sondern eben andere Örtlichkeiten wie z.b. die Küche, wo entsprechende Gerüche beim zubereiten der Mahlzeiten wie Gemüse oder vor allem Fleisch eben diese Mücken und Motten als Schädlinge anlockt. Jeder kennt es im Hochsommer, am späten Abend wegen der Hitze 20 min gelüftet, schon ist die Wohnung je nach Jahreszeit eben durchaus voll von denen. Da kann der BuzBug denke ich sehr gut punkten, indem man ihn über Nacht oder mit abgedunkelten Fenster in der Küche laufen lässt. Ein Einsatz im Freien ist sicherlich möglich m. M. aber eine echt dumme Idee Es ist das eine, einen Raum mit einer Handvoll Fliegen mit dem Teil wieder Fliegenfrei zu bekommen. Die Anzahl der Störenfriede ist in einem geschlossenen Raum endlich. Im freien jedoch ist wegen des UV Lockeffektes das Gerät nichts anderes als eine Werbetafel. Ähnlich dem Himmelslicht so manch einer alten Diskothek die man noch in 50km Entfernung am Himmel gesehen hat. „All you can eat! – For Free – Come an get it – Bring your Family!”. Ach ja: Vorsicht wenn die Gattin sich von Zeit zu Zeit gerne selbst Geelnägel macht... 😜

Si cumple su función matando insectos, difícilmente veo que este producto atraiga a los mosquitos para matarlos pero realmente sirve este producto perfectamente.
