The good news is that these are quite thick and feel like a strong durable rubber. Even the lighter weight bands, like the red one pictured, feels very solid. I've used it a few times now and do not get the sense that this thing is going to snap. On the flipside, as others have eluded to, because of the red and yellow bands being thinner across, they do hurt a bit in the hand when you are using them. There isn't a lot of area to hold and it takes some getting used to. I suppose you can get a handle or just wear a glove, which is what I might do. The door anchor it comes with has a big foam roller at the end, but that doesn't feel overly strong. I imagine itll stay secure because of its size, but it seems like something that can wear over time. It also doesn't fit in the long part of the door near the hinge, so you have to put it on the bottom, top or open part. These also seem to offer more resistance then my previous bands.
