RA1129 2-Piece Quick-Change Router Template Guide Adapter Kit for Threaded Template Guides

Very pleased with this purchase from HeltonToolandHome. The quick change router template guide made by Bosch was good quality and functions perfectly, as expected. But I was particularly pleased with the rapid delivery, excellent packaging, and low price from the vendor, HeltonToolandHome. This was one of those purchases through Amazon that was NOT shipped by Amazon and came instead directly from the vendor. I’m usually wary of these transactions as my past experience hasn’t always been good, but HeltonToolandHome were excellent and I’ll be pleased to buy from them again through Amazon.

Works great

Made for Bosch Routers so they fit perfectly. They offer ease of use for changing different guide bushings on demand. The installation of the adapter minimizes the need to center the bushing for each use, making the cut more accurate.

Good product to allow use of PC guides in a Bosch router. I say good but not great. The Bosch method of holding their guides is a clever piece of engineering design but there is as some other reviewers have noted some slop. Slop is minimal but it is there and for most fine work slop is not a good thing. A little creative shimming with some adhesive aluminum duct tape takes up the slack but would have preferred not to have had to fiddle with it. Knocked off a star for the fit but otherwise fine.

Good fit for Bosch router 1617EVS

Quality product at a reasonable price

It works well fit is perfect

This is an update. I initially gave it one star. I have a Bosch router and decided to do some dovetails. Found out I needed to buy this thing or a new router base to make standard guides fit. So I bought a couple of these. It has a lever that is supposed to allow quick changes, but instead it binds against the router base and won’t budge. I thought of beating on it with a hammer but decided against it. Then on my second guide I did beat on it with a hammer and it works much better now. The latch will now open but only closes a little over half way before it binds, but it is usable. I have a smaller dewalt router and changing guides is a snap. Screw it in and you’re done. Why does Bosch give you a non-standard base and then ask you to complicate things with this weird thing. A new router base is on my list.

Works as it should. Perfect fit for my Bosch router. This adapter makes changes quick and easy.

PARFAIT

Had been looking for a adapter kit for my Bosch router for a while and saw this adapter in a kit. After some searching found this part on its own meaning I can use it with a better & wider selection of other template guides than those provided in the kit. But this and get a decent set of guide bushes to go with it. May cost slightly more but will so much more flexible.

Juste indispensable...

Works as described, good price
