The silicone covers not only protect your fingers from the heat, they provide a gripping surface that prevents early-morning fumbles. The top makes a perfect, deep saucer to catch the last drips from the spent leaves. It fits on all of my mugs, from a 10 oz. to a wide-mouthed 16 oz. I’ve been using the infuser daily for several months now with the only sign of wear being tea staining on the basket.

These two very affordable and high quality tea infusers keep the loose leaf tea securely inside the infuser. The infusers top and bottom are equal which helps to proportion the loose leaf tea. They are made of highest quality stainless steel 18/8.

The quality of this is great. Easy to clean, easy to use, no tea leaves escape and the size is perfect. The tea does not leak out of the tea infusers. Very minimal tea dust on the bottom of my pot. I highly recommend these. The plates the tea infusers sit on are not sharp at all. I do not know why other reviewers say it is sharp and can cut yourself. these are not cheaply made.
