Great work boots out of the box
Two months in, and here is my review. I waited two months, but I wanted to write this after twenty minutes wearing these around the farm: I am specifically non-brand loyal- I like to shop around and see what fits my lifestyle the best versus many product features like cost, comfort, etc. that help people choose products.. I had specifically left Ariat as the last brand I tried because I WANTED to like them. I made sure I tried everything first and had as much context as I could before I went with Ariat. Been through every name and no-name brand you can find- from Timberland, Wolverine, Caterpillar, RedWing, Smiths, etc etc etc etc etc etc, there are millions of boots out there. I like Ariat because of their brand history- I work as a agricultural farm mechanic, and I need boots that can survive field conditions day in and day out. Well, all the other brands are comfortable initially. Every brand aims high, starts out well enough, and then, sure enough, by hour five or six, your dogs are barking and you're DYING to get out of your boots and put your feet up. Well, Ariat, Thank you- Thank you for instilling patience I so greatly need to foster in my life. They were worth the wait- These Treadfast work boots are by far the most comfortable boots I've tried straight out of the box, to all-day, hardcore on-the-farm use. Myriads of different terrain, and these are solid on all. The soles have been soaked in hydraulic fluid and didn't slip. They've been caked in manure and hardened mud and a few kicks and a good brush and back to work they go. At the end of 12 hours, they are as solid as when I put them on in the morning. Lots of ankle support, still good range of motion, classic good looks, and great grip on all terrain. As far as longevity- I urge consumers to note the price- These are not $200-$300+ boots that you might expect to last years and years- these are down and dirty boots that are really good right out of the box and when you have to replace them, you don't have to feel bad because you can get these on sale for $100, and they're so so so so so so so so so so so far much better than anything else in THAT price range. For me- I'd buy a new pair of these over ones that may last a bit longer but I would be DEFINITELY SACRIFICING A LOT in terms of all day comfort, break-in period, etc. TLDR, these boots are a great compromise between cost and durability for ACTUALLY GREAT BOOTS. Plus, they're a historic women-owned USA company, BUY THESE ALREADY!!!! All the hate in the reviews here, and I can GUARANTEE they didn't put in the work I did for this review. Happy Farming!

Great work boots!
My boyfriend is tough on shoes, especially work boots. These are by far his favorite by comfort, lasting and waterproof. He has had these 6 months only, probably has 2 more months before needing new, which is long for him. Boots are usually 3 months if he is lucky.

Horrible build and even worse customer service with Ariat.
The back of the boots are coming apart after less than 3 months of use. Merchant on Amazon is the manufacturer. Called to get the warranty today and they send sad them back to Amazon but this isn’t possible as the 30 day return window has.closed. Don’t buy this garbage. Bad make and horrible customer support! I noticed another review showed the same exact issue happening to them with a picture of both boots tearing. Check the reviews..

Comfortable out of the box
Very comfortable boot right out of the box. True to size. Wide is actually wide. My only complaints so far is the ankle bent eyelet is a cloth strap instead of a metal hook like the rest of them and the laces are crap. Other than that, time will tell.

Good Quality / Price
Solid, heavy, s-kicker work boots at a reasonable price. Function as advertised (waterproof, durable, good support). I'm not a boot expert but I do love these and I think they look good.

Husband is happy.
My husband couldn’t find these anywhere, I got lucky I guess. He’s super happy with the fit, true to size. Easily laced. We love the durability of Ariat.

Comfortable but they don't last
I have bought two pairs of these boots. I found them comfortable for my ranch work. However, they wear out way too quickly. I get a year's worth of wear out of them and then the leather separates from the tread. I like Ariat but I don't think I would buy these again -- I need boots to go longer than this.

Good quality boots.
Good shoes, a little expensive. The size fits me well if not a little bit large, but I bought them for winter, so an extra pair of socks fits perfectly. These have poor traction on snow and Ice. I bought a pair of Georgia Boots which have great traction. These may be good for mud or other conditions, but you may as well try to stand on a toboggan. The first picture is the Georgia Boots that I trust trekking through the snow with, this pair will wait for spring and yard and field work. The second picture are these boots which are very comfortable. But twisted my back up trying to maintain balance.
