Review for compact vehicles/ rss265hf vs P2?
I couldn't find many reviews of this sub in a car so.. They're pretty amazing actually. Got 2 of them wired parallel for 2 ohms and am running them at around 800 watts(soundquebed 1250 amp) and they look and sound great. They're in the trunk of a Corolla S and my alternator is just fine. At what seems to be their peak volume (without distorting) they sometimes make an excursion noise. Like a high pitched squeal up close. You'd only hear it if you were up close but I've made sure to keep them safe from overextending themselves by resetting gain. Still plenty loud, plenty low(does subsonic frequencies really nice and present which was what I was looking for) and yea overall great product. I'd recommend this over the Rockford Fosgate P2s only because they're more powerful, cheaper, and great quality. Nothing disqualifies high fidelity subwoofers from cars. Especially for good SQ setups.

Look and hit like a hi end subwoofer.
I mounted 2 of these on my wall. Wasn't sure what to expect being in a wall but I love how they sound. Quality woofers for sure.

Exceptional quality and value.
Absolutely exceptional quality subwoofer. I run a small project studio and decided to build my own monitor speakers. I used a Seas Exige 5" coaxial driver, but I wanted a subwoofer as well. I decided to use two drivers for L/R to maximize fidelity. Pairing with the floor does not yield critical results. I needed a highly accurate driver, one appropriate for near-field listening, also able to be utilized in a small, sealed enclosure (and now that I was buying two, something cost effective: a matching pair of Seas subwoofers would've been out of budget). With some professional consultation, I ended up on this driver. I couldn't be more impressed. Excellent frequency response, very accurate, solidly built, amazing value. Recommended to any and all. I have used this product for about six months now, so I've been able to put it through the paces. I love it for both mixing and listening.
